@@BarnySoundEngineeryet we can see sometimes the snare should sound, and he hits it, but we're hearing nothing. So really weird, trig snare in live is not used especially for Dying Fetus.
I really hope it's just a recording thing and it doesn't actually sound like that live

@@Jeffmetal42 The only song I feel they were missing was One Shot, One Kill. Otherwise, it's the perfect set for this crowd.
Was a trip not hearing them play Praise the Lord. I don't think they've skipped that song since they wrote it. Not a very HxCx song tho so I get it. @@JareDestroyer1

@@playautumn-vk4mh What I dig about John is that he can do all of the hardcore slam stuff, death metal staccato riffs and if the song calls for it, do a technical solo or two that could slice Yngwie's balls off lol

In less than 20 seconds, the crowd's whole tone shifted from impatient and frustrated to genuinely vibing with a drum piece that wasn't planned in the slightest.
The dude's professionalism is just legendary, I now have another reason to look up to him as a musician
kinda funny that a bunch of metalheads could thrown on their 'karen vibe' for a technical issue.
I love how they get out there as a 3 piece and play their highly technical songs raw. Takes some serious skills and confidence
They fit good in a HC festival, because they were playing a good mix between deahthmetal, hardcore and grindcore from the begining.

There are really those masterclass of metal bands that when you heard it you know they are them.
Dying Fetus, Cradle of Filth, Slayer Cannibal Corpse, Deicide are some of them.

18:25 Imagine performing in front of a lot of people, after hours and hours of practice and rehearsals, and suddenly a random kid comes up on stage to grab your microphone while you're singing. I would've gone mad, but DF are surely one of the "calmest" band out there.

@@herehere3139 maybe because in our country, fireguns is prohibited, and there is a lot of security at the enter of the venue + we are like 15/20 on stage. You're mentionning the Dimebag Barrel incident i think. Hardcore is without barricade, the festival is family friendly actually (1k people)
