I'd rather go carnivore
Broccoli, cauliflower and mushrooms are just fine as long as you keep a healthy balance with other things like cheeseburgers and Hershey bars.
Well, you need to roll the mushrooms, broccoli, and cauliflower in cornmeal and then deep fry it for the best fine dining experience.

This viewpoint assumes that AI can be aligned at all. When he says that "AI should be aligned with 'don't die'" - I don't think he really understands the implications of that position. For example the game SOMA is about exactly what could happen in that scenario. A superintelligent AI is tasked with keeping humans alive, and what results is a fate worse than death. "I have no mouth and I must scream" is about what happens when an AI decides of its own volition to keep humans alive for entertainment. Yes it's good to prepare for the optimistic scenario, but you must also consider the pessimistic scenario, to which the rational response may be "get out while you still can".
I like how the two sides are "vegetables bad" and "eat this one thing and you will live forever" and nothing inbetween.
It's like a CNN panel.
God this is hilarious.
Boiling vegetables pours huge amounts of nutrients down the drain.
And it breaks the ones that are sensitive to heat.
I wondered that. It's such common knowledge that I was expecting an immediate explanation (ie. some nonsense about "removing antinutrients" or something.)
It’s true, cooking your vegetables, & food generally, causes enzymes, minerals, and vitamins to be destroyed. Raw food is best.
Removing anti nutrients is nonsense? @@gregbell2117
Measure and weigh shataki mushrooms? Bunch of nonsense.
Using a math based algorithm with limited learning capabilities to base all your decisions on, is also a bunch of nonsense.
Besides raw mushrooms and veggies are more nutritious than cooked ones and everyone's nutritional needs are based on their own biology/genetics. The more they scientifically alter foods the less food that I find that I can safely eat.
He uses the word “algorithm” when really he just means a recipe and schedule
I think you're right, but algorithm has more nuance in the sense that it's not an art. It's a recipe but it's more precise and scientific
he looks anemic
HAHA!!
He may be wearing foundation
Those food looks delicious. I just have a 5 and 3 year old so I eat my food in about 3 minutes.
Nice try Skynet. Nobody is falling for your AI cyborg. That guy is clearly not human.
This is clearly all a part of Skynet's plan to eliminate us; since we'll eventually kill ourselves with boredom from our diet...
He does not look well...
Exactly. He's a fraud.
Need more than just vegetables
Because of low bodyfat percentage. It is not very usual to see people with that much of a low bodyfay so it seems abnormal to us. But I'm pretty sure bodyfat percentage lower than 20% is very healthy for most men. I think he lowered even more.
IMO, Liz seemed like she thought it was BS, and it showed. Maybe went a little too far, the guy seemed frustrated.
You detected an emotion!?
@@gregbell2117 lmao
Absolutely disgusting
“Trying to build the guiding ideology.” Oh boy. It seems to me he’s missing the point. How does he imagine the subjective nature of human experience is replaced by this ideology? Super-intelligence? I am very very skeptical.
The girl on the left of the screen would rather sacrifice health for taste, meaning she’d rather risk cancer and frequent coughs and colds just for taste.
Left?
@@javelinmk3276 haha sorry right lol
But what if i really want to?
great interview
I learned early on to not trusts dudes with thin lips.
He’s right scientifically raw food without processed foods has shown to stave off health problems and cause longer lifespan. So if you look at food scientifically it works best this way. It makes sense because in the wild food is neither cooked nor processed.
Maybe, maybe not. But he's not going to live forever...
@@RonSwansonIsMyGod but maybe while he’s here he can have lesser health issues and live a more enjoyable life, free of illness.
@@robfromvanMeh, these days I tend to agree with Peter Attia that exercise has way more impact on longevity than nutrition.
@@RonSwansonIsMyGod oh no, actually it just has a marginal effect. Food and nutrition is way more important. Here’s the proof:

Well hell, ginger and garlic? Add some soy sauce and beef then saute it and you got beef broccoli!
The way he speaks is very questionable specially by mixing different unrelated topics and jumping between them.
Reason's guest seriously just equated capitalism to profit at any cost.
not one mention of the wonder food eggs. gee... i love my oatmeal w nuts.
He looks sickly.
I'm having trouble making the connection between internet diet #593243 and the heady ideas of a new reality.
This guy is a huckster.
Going through all this crap to look like the Alien from the Star Wars series
