Hi Sarica! I love watching your flipthroughs. I want to journal but I am not sure whether I want to keep it separate from my bullet journal or not. Either way, you share creative ways to decorate yours.
Simmile100 hi Simmile! Thanks so much, that made me smile! I have tried both ways of journaling that you mentioned. When I first got into bullet journaling, I would make a daily to do list and then write my memories, feelings, etc underneath. (I used a Rhodia dot Grid A5 notebook.) I started to get self conscious about my bujo because people would want to take a look at my planner when I took it out to plan during work or whenever I was out. So, I separated my planner from my journal. I generally leave my journal at home and my bujo goes with me everywhere. It’s kind of ironic because I show my journal to the world via the internet nowadays! Back then I used to be unfiltered in my daily journal. Now, I hide anything private under photos (this is the first time I’m saying this!) or in mini envelopes. I also have a “for my eyes only” journal where I can be free, even from my own expectations and standards. I hope this helps you find a journaling setup that works best for you! It may help to have one catch all journal if you don’t want to keep track of so many notebooks. But if you like to compartmentalize or keep things private, a multiple notebook system might be best.
I love the idea of the hiding spots like the mini envelopes. I tried journaling for the first time in my bullet journal last week and the same thing happened to me. Someone wanted to see my planner pages and I quickly flipped through (skipping the page) and put it away, lol. I purchased an Essentials Grid-Lined Notebook a month ago, but I haven't used it just yet, thinking that I would be wasting pages if I didn't stick with it... yet the journaling bug has been strong since January because I think it would be something to look back on. In the meantime, I will keep coming back to watch your flipthroughs 😊
can you do a video of just your calligraphy? it's so beautiful and unique, plus i really love your video! your voice is so calm and your works are pleasingly aesthetic!
you are such a sweet person wow. !!yes journaling helps , yes 'happy thoughts sometimes help..' but you need to exit 'the alone zone'..:-) go and make your own journaling a blessing with your great voice speaking childrens' audiobooks and those tapes . that will very helpful in your own process and journey. find a voice-agent or audiobook company like audible to inform about this work. Love and light from Amsterdam X

So pretty :3 can I ask what kind of photo printer use for the small pictures you put in your Hobonichi?
By the way, I'd like to know where you buy all your journals?
Hi Bethany, I buy most of my journals on Amazon (links are in the description!) If I do buy in a shop, it's probably Blick 😊
You live in Pittsburgh PA??
