"If you write one word or one sentence, you still commemorated that day." Loved when you said this as there are days when I want to fill my Hobo but either did not have much going on to do so or too tired and I don't want to. I loved the fact that even on the day that you were too tired to write anything, that's exactly what you wrote; to commemorate that day! Nice journaling process, thanks for sharing.
I’ve followed you for a while on Instagram and just recently discovered you had a UA-cam channel! I love your handwriting, your Hobonichi, and how you present this flip through. You’re well-spoken and descriptive and that’s always a plus. Love from Indonesia! 💖
Creativity is a neverending journey. Thank you for sharing your spreads and about trip and family and yourself. It's all so lovely. The monthly affirmation is a cool thing. Love that
I know this is an old video but if it makes you feel any better you are my bujo creative princess that I look up to😊💕 I do get you especially since you are constantly on social media. Cheer up! 😄
Love love LOVE! ❤️ I am so bad at journaling while on vacation! But girl, you sure do inspire me to keep on track! I started implementing those monthly affirmations and it really does emotionally motivate me to accomplish even more the next month! This flip through was perfect!
Thank you Tanyka, I'm so glad I can be of inspiration to you! It's really tough to find the time, and my pages don't always look full, but daily journaling can become a habit! Best of luck to you friend! 💕
Sarica, this was an awesome video! I’ve been following you on Instagram and just found your youtube channel, love it! Your idea for the monthly calendar snippets are a great idea, I often don’t have time to write for days at a time and then I forget all the things I wanted to include. Your pages are so beautiful, thank you for sharing. This is the first “chatty” hobonichi flip through that I watched all the way through🙂 Can’t wait to see more👍🏽
Creativity is a marathon so true. I struggle with feeling like I can't catch up as well. So much things I want to do and practise but only so much time in a day. But guess what I have more than one day. It turned out so pretty! love the video!
Such a great video! You're one of my favorite UA-camrs and it's so nice to watch your channel grow and your videos evolve as you become more comfortable! I'm so happy that I stumbled on your channel :)
As always I love your videos and always look forward to them So much of your California trip and video resonated with me. My grandparents are also buried at Rose Hills and those passages from 1 Corinthians 13 were read at my wedding. I also absolutely love Daiso and Din Tai Fung. Hope you get to visit again soon
Must be an extrovert problem, because I have the same just the other way round! After a weekend spent just with my partner and cats, on Monday I’m surrounded by people again! 😂
Yes. Daiso is the best shop. I went there like three times when I was traveling in SF. The eraser from Daiso is the best, much better than any eraser that I have used and very cute. The three-hour time difference is no joke, especially from west to east. I live in the Seattle area, and every time I need to go to the east coast for work or meeting. I felt like I am a zombie. Every one of my co-workers told me the same thing. We hate to travel to the east coast. I travel between China and US a lot and I feel 3-hour difference cause jet-lag as much as 15-hour time difference.
Oooh I didn't pick up an eraser, I'll have to get one next time! Wow, with all of that traveling and jetlag you still have time and energy to make beautiful journal spreads... yasss Sherry!! ❤️
I love listening to your explanations. Just had a question, my hobonichi gets really bulky with things I stick down, I also used you envelope templates :3 how do you keep your hobonichi nice and flat? X
thanks so much! Actually, my hobonichi is really bulky too, I'm getting a bit worried! I have been trying to stick to thinner collages, and I use thinner photo paper rather than things like Polaroids. hope that helps x
How freaking cute! I love that you and your dad share the same hobbies. So wonderful! 😊
Aww thanks Kimmy!! I am so grateful to have my dad
