Well done boys. Common skate are in incredible fish and, as you said, majestic when they swim away. Where I am in Ireland we get them in 20m/65ft of water. Off a kayak.

They're absolutely amazing fish to see In the flesh, if you haven't caught one already you need to put it on your list of things to do
If you boys are going out on the salty stuff you have to come down to the south coast in the summer and tangle with a tuna!
