I had the same issue with the GT.... The leg position hurt my hips and knees big time for some reason more than supersports, I added some knight design GSXS1000 pegs for a little leg relief and it helped a bit, a taller seat would also help.
Same here. Decided on vstrom 1050 road version- love it. Has all the electronics now except for the semi active suspension. The big strom is perfect ergo wise for me at 6ft2
Thanks for the review. Kind of glad I got a Tracer 9 GT. I got a left over for $12000 a few years ago before the S1000GX came out. The triple is a blast.
Well done sir. You especially got the V-Strom 1050 comments correct. Not as much fun for a couple hours. However, as the GX fun factor wanes, the V-STROM comfort waxes. IMO the V-STROM wins all day long given the cost of the GX. No bracket and top box in the Suzuki accessories for the GX? Did Suzuki not spec the bike to handle a top box?
Though the video was about 40 minutes it felt quite brief. I think you could have shown the motorcycle itself more. Also most european journalists were not happy with the stock tires the bike comes with. Others reported after changing those the feel and handling of the bike changed substantially. To me it felt like you weren't too excited for the bike and it shows. You tried to deliver your usual high standard review but nothing compensates real intrinsical interest and excitement for a bike. Otherwise the presentation and cinematography was - as always - spot on.
Undoubtedly the best bikes reviewer on the net. I love your work man. I have a Ducati V2S and was nice to hear from.this bike to know the new features and differencies. I believe than despite the horse power, the Ducati is a better choice for me. Greetings from Buenos Aires. Again, your work is flawless.
Comment on your judgment of the headlights: if you had rear preload at “2 riders” but didn’t re-adjust the headlights, they were probably angled lower than Suzuki engineers would suggest. Angling a bit higher could slightly improve their usefulness.
I don't understand why this bike is so expensive in the USA. Here in the UK it's £14700 without panniers but dealers are discounting and Suzuki are throwing in panniers for free so I paid £14000 for one with panniers and got a good discount on a centre stand and heated grips. I've seen some dealers offering bigger discounts than I got. Additionally here in the UK Suzuki give a seven year warranty on bikes, I'm sure they'd sell loads in the states with a similar package. It's rare we get better prices than the US.
Wow... That headlight footage was scary. I'm hoping its not as bad in person as it looked on film. I've been looking really hard at the 800 standard edition, as its just ADV enough to suit my limited needs, but if it has the same gaps in light coverage at night as this... Thats a deal killer. Of all the competitors to this bike you listed though... I'd still buy this one. It looks good, sounds good, and has that sport tourer appeal that i find really hits the spot right now. I'd just have to be home/at the hotel before dusk. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for branching out into other moto categories.
Your reviews are the best, period. I love some 4 cylinder engines, they all are not inherently peaky...for example Bandit 1200/1250 especially the 1250 peak torque at 4150 rpm's pulls better than just about any twin or triple right out of the gate. Then there's the busa 4 cyl., wish they would use that in a similar application to the GX but give it some legroom. Thanks!
I'm 6'2", the leg room was great for me, very much welcome from my SV1000S. And I ride with touring boots. Add an Airhawk or other pad and leg room is fine.
At $19K, this bike misses the mark. You didn't mention it, but I'm pretty sure heated grips are an additional cost. I do like the styling and the legendary Suzuki reliability, but I think it's overpriced for what you get. In my area of North Carolina, Suzuki has some pretty aggressive discounts on this bike. Like you, I much prefer my triple cylinder and v-twin bikes over a four. Excellent review.
Dunno why everyone is so infatuated with heated grips. They're useless when you actually need them, they're just ok for when you really don't. If you need your hands warm, you'll get heated gloves. And fitting grip heaters aftermarket is an afternoon job anyway.
Ian, I think the 50 series rear tire is always a bad choice by OE. Suzuki is notorious for this. A 190/55 will transform the handling and reduce the need to jack the rear up so much. OE fleet bikes also are notorious for having not had their brakes bedded in properly. I think this would be a pretty good platform, but the price point is off the mark at that level. They clearly should sort the lighting, etc. Keep up the good work!
Rode a GX at local dealer demo day. Overall seemed tight and well built. Was actually disappointed it didn’t have more low end grunt. On guided demo ride couldn’t really spool it up past 6-7000 rpm and didn’t seem to pull any harder than my 2015 Versys 1000 up to that point. Certain the top end would’ve hit harder. Tightish legroom as expected. Was a hot 90°F and my shins were plenty toasty, a bit hotter than my V1K. Also a little less wind protection on the GX. More of a sit up on the bike than in the bike feel.
Love to see you review a new Husqvarna FE 350… just wondering your thoughts on the 350 verse the 501. I bet there’s a lot of us out here that would love to see your perspective.
ECU flash really wakes these motors up and removes the low rpm throttle restrictions. The TC system is dumb for sure when I had my GT I always rode with TC1 and throttle in A mode (post ecu flash from 2wdw). Replace the tires, especially the rear with a 190/55 and the handling will improve greatly. I installed knight design GSXS1000 pegs on my GT for a little more legroom, that was my biggest issue with the GT is the riding position felt worse than an actual supersport and was screwing with my knee/hips on long rides. Supposedly the premium seat is a little taller too so that will also help with legroom. This bike seems like it might essentially fix the issues I had with the GT with a few mods. The brakes definitely felt spongy and required a lot more initial pull than i'd like overtime. I got rid of my GT unfortunately after putting 7k miles on it due to it not feeling like the right bike for my riding and the comfort issues, the GX seems like it might be a better fit. I've never had electronic suspension and I'm a heavy guy so that's my big worry about this bike, it would take a lot of time fine tuning it for sure.
How are those headlights still being put on new models? My Vstrom800DE is scary to ride at night with those lamps. Also no reason for that price they don't have alternate mounting location for footpegs for us taller folks. I really hope to see that one day where you can re-adjust a sport touring bike ergos to adventure touring seating position.
Fingers crossed Honda brings the NT1100 to the states eventually. Would love to see some more competition in the sport touring space again. Also the upcoming Triumph Tiger Sport 800 is looking like it’s going to steal a few sales away from the competition.
We have them here in europe and although it is a Honda, so it is reliable, it is a typical ( a bit boring) parrallel twin. it has less grunt, less power and it really is a boring old mans looking bike (coming from an 58y old man ). I have a first gen 2018 BMW s1000xr (the crazy one, before BMW decided to make the gen2 a bit more mainstream) , but I also have a 2016 Triumph Tiger sport 1050 ( the final version that never made it to the states ). I have ridden the GSX S1000GX . It is a good bike, it didn't blow me away. But it feels nimble and light. The BMW is a lot more crazy and engaging, it is a sportsbike hidden in a tourer ( first gen anyway) but I wouldn't call it reliable. The triumph has 126HP but it has the final version of the Speed triples 1050 triple engine and that is a peach. Suspension, way to soft so I had to modify it , but then it became a dream sportstourer. A bit on the heavy site. The NT1100 will never do it for this old man. I would not call that a sportstourer.... A tourer will do
@@gvybin agreed the NT1100 doesn’t compete with those bikes, however the inclusion of electronic suspension this year does change things a bit. I have a 24 Africa Twin Adventure Sports with the electronic suspension and the adjustability it offers is awesome.
@@anxiousappliance maybe not, but it undercuts them in price substantially. Would be interesting to see dyno graphs for the bikes, they might have pretty similar power/torque figures in the midrange.
I had a GSXR 600 that I loved for track days.................except for the mushy brakes. This was 20 years ago so some things never change. Braided lines helped, but they were never close to a good set of Brembo's
Great bike, when the tyres wear out, or sooner! replace and swap the rear out for a 55 profile. That's a better solution than running the 2-up rear preload.
Amazing review Ian!! As always, I enjoyed watching your analysis of a new motorcycle. Here is my take - it is more sporty than a Kawasaki Versys 1000 (1100). But less roomy for taller riders like myself (6ft with 33” inseam). I compare it more close to Yamaha Tracer GT and honestly, Yamaha will be my choice out of these two due to inline 3 engine vs 4. I am a fan of twin cylinders or 3 cylinders. Also I believe that they should add heated grips and centre stand as default.
Another comment, if that is OK to mention: Last summer I visited Italy and really enjoyed renting NT1100 for one day spirited ride. Really loved this motorcycle. Comfortable seating position and really loved the twin cylinder Africa engine. Also rented it DCT. Wow, what a pleasure to ride! Ended up coming home and ordering new 2025 Africa AS with DCT. Also, for 2025 NT1100 was updated with electronic suspension, IMU, etc. Unfortunately they don’t import it to Canada and US.
@@MrPchubare I keep seeing rumors from UK journalists that went on the new NT1100 press launch that it’s coming to North America starting in May. I’ve also read that it’s only coming to the States as a police model. So who knows what’s actually the case.
@@soggywuffles882 thanks for the info. It will become a popular sport tourer for North America if they offer it to the public. I really loved the engine. It reminded me the Super Tenere engine which I loved!
Excellent review. My 2 cents: 1. sintered pads gave the bike a bite almost like I remember it from an S1000R. 2. change the 50 rear tire to a 55 and the handling gets much better (instead of ramping up the preload).
Great honest review of this bike. Although it sounds pretty good, at this price point of about $20k it is within the universe of the BMW R1250RT. I'm thinking another $3-5 K and you can get the RT, which I find is the best all around bike for touring and canyon carving. One big point is no 4 cylinder buzz. What are you thoughts as you've ridden both?
@@BigRockMoto Wouldn't the 1250RS be the more comparable bike? I guess the Suzuki is right in between, electronics, ergos, protection, and comfort-wise
I also tried it. It was fun but also disappointing. It is so close, yet misses the mark. I think the concept is brilliant but the product development and pricing is wrong. It lacks (on purpose) some key confort features for touring. I think they were afraid to cannibalize on the gt or the vstrom and decided not to make it too good. Poor decision because customers will buy other brands.
As for the Tracer. I think we no longer get the gt+ here in the states according to the Yamaha website for the 25my. We get the new Tracer Standard Model. Which I believe does not have electric suspension and adaptive cruise for a much lower msrp 12,600.
Regarding the shield, I am same height as you and use medium position of it. Perfectly fine and no turbulence neither wind buffeting with my arai rx7v. Using an Arai Quantic, the noise is unbeareble
At first it seemed like an interesting bike to me but the more i hear the more i go off it. I will stick with my KTM Super Adventure 1290 s for a while. Great review as always.👍uk
@@medomai8699 Both the Tracer 9 and the Versys are good. I have a V1000 and a '20 Tracer 900GT. Go with how you like the ergos. I use both for day trips and I can use both for week-long trips. If I was crossing the country, I'd take the Versys.
I grew up a Suzuki fan boy, from my first 78' JR50 and the six Suzuki's I had after that. Over the years they just don't make anything that excites me anymore so I've moved on to other brands.
I'm surprised in the comparison you didn't discuss comfort more given they're supposed to be tourers. The Versys I rode was more comfortable than my old Tracer and the S1000 I tried was incredibly buzzy, not something I'd want over long distance.
Still have a 2020 Tracer 900 GT and it's plenty comfortable. Picked up the touring seat, and it's very good, but the stock seat was excellent as well, just didn't have the contour bumps on it.
Wanted to like it so much. Just can't do 1000 miles a day leaned over like that. I don't think it is a tourer at all. It is just a gixxer with bags. That's why I ended up on a Versys 1000.
Offroad riding 20:50 - put a bit more aggressive tires on it and it can go to all the places where 95% of big adventure bike owners would ever take their bikes.
Tough question. Seeing that I already have a 2020 Tracer 900GT, I do not feel compelled to trade it for a GX. If I didn't have it, choosing between the Tracer and the GX would be a harder proposition. Used low km Tracers would be something that I would look for, as the riding feel will be similar.
Seems like an on going theme with Suzuki. On one hand it's brilliant. But then on the other hand you can't help but scratch your head on things they miss. For instance... Steel braided brake lines is a must. To put top level braking hardware on, only to mate it to soft rubber lines. I understand cost savings, but that makes zero sense.
@maximus - and you've done comprehensive scientific research on brake performance of stock lines? You think the mushiness he talks about in the video is due to the lines?
With the seat height and minimal wind protection this seems like an adventure bike that can't go off road but still puts your feet a bit too far back. Braking seems underwhelming. I'm not sold.
The $1M question to me is this "crossover" segment redundant because adventure bikes, like the R1300GS, have come so far. Put another way, are crossover street performance capabilities that much better to warrant the inherent trade-offs (more compromised ergos, less capable on rough or off road, etc.)
I think this bike is great, but about 2 grand too expensive. Quick improvements: Swap for a set of actually GREAT tires. Swap for more aggressive break pads (not the fluffy stuff Suzuki wants to protect customers with). Go -1 tooth front sprocket. Gearing is WAY TOO TALL. (Optional) Swap for full exhaust, ECU flash, and enjoy another 12-15 horsepower.
@@soggywuffles882 That's more a sign of economic problems, people simply don't have expendable money these days for stuff that's not considered necessary for daily function. But my original point, the bike is priced too high. Compared to the GT, that becomes apparent. Not sure I'd ever "need" electronic suspension rather than choosing cartridges and a shock in the aftermarket.
Yes - $18.5k is too much for THIS bike as equipped vs the competition. If you want a touring focused talk rounder, get the Versys 1100, they usually come with heavy discounts. It you want the ugliest bike currently for sale, buy the Tracer 9GT+. If you want a sporting talk rounder, get the S1000XR. Better yet, just buy the S1000XR, 1 year removed from new for 80% of MSRP. It just can’t be beat!
@ The premium pack with cruise as one of the included items is $2500, totaling$21,125 with destination fees and a 3 year /36k warranty. The Suzuki is $19,130 Sorry but the BMW is worth every dollar of the $3500 price delta after to you add the side cases.
@rogerzhang2335 basically they created a SUV type motorcycle, let's say sport touring bike with upright rider position, made awesome suspension, but they placed footpegs in such stupid place resulting in the sport bike legs position. The ergonomics is going to be terrible on this bike. Sorry for my grammar but I'm not native speaker.
@@gawmich How does the footpeg position relate on this machine, compared to a Versys 1100, BMW S1000XR, Ducati Multistrada V2, Yamaha Tracer 9GT? It's easy to say it's wrong, but unless you understand how it compares in the category, what do you know?
Suzuki is good with ergos - try it before deciding. My Suzuki naked has more than expected kneebend, but it turns out to be very comfortable and gives a sense of control. Generally these are sportier machines than the other Japanese tallrounders, and it's nice to dig into the tank.
Cool bike. But isn't this like the equivalent of buying a Jeep Rubicon and driving it 100% on the street? Why all that suspension travel, and the added seat height, for a street bike?
Upright seating position with leg room while giving you foot peg clearance for sporty riding? All of this depends on physical dimensions of each part of the equation.
$18k is not too much for any bike that performs as well as a Suzuki, lasts as long as a Suzuki, is as reliable and trouble free as a Suzuki. Why don't you ask if all those other bikes, that don't last as long, or aren't as reliable, or perform so well, are they worth what they cost?
Since the dawn of motocyclies 200 years ago, beer bellies have been asking when will they make a GSXR1000 with upright ergos. Whelp, stop scratching your bald spot and go buy it. Good job, Suzuki only took yall 25 years.
2025 already and many bikes have worse lights than 2000s models. Suzuki is not the brand it used to be, almost like they don't care about motorycles anymore. No innovation.. they sell reliability for the past 15 years.
That is a very long list of cons you had there, too long for a bike that cost nearly 20 grand. Some are unforgivable like having to STOP and spend 20 min to adjust the windscreen. It almost looks like they left this to the junior engineer to design and NOBODY tested it ???
I really looked forward to this bike, had high expectations, but was disappointed w/it on a number of points. First was price which I think is outrageous. The non-manual windscreen was another. No standard heated grips. The colorways are unattractive too. What is it w/these Japanese manufacturers w/the weirdo angled styling and colors? Just yucky. So much potential but I think Suzuki blew it, especially price-wise.
Cracking review of the Suzuki-really thorough! But for me, it’s got too much wind noise, poor screen adjustment, and just wasn’t comfortable. Suzuki should’ve shaved 2k off the price; they’d have shifted more bikes. As it stands, they’re too close to the S 1000 XR in price, and I’d pick the BMW instead.
Awfull bike for 2 up touring the foot pegs are to high and to far back the rear seat would be ok if you want to sit with your head in the clouds and what about the top box Chain drive is so last year The BMW R1300 GS is so much better
In my opinion any new Japanese bike of this genre competes with used premium bikes from bmw and ducati. A used GS, RT, RS or multistrada is tough to beat for half the price.
It's odd regarding Suzuki and Brembos. My ABS Gixxus 750 has the best brakes I've ever used - front and rear - using Nissans: full of feel and progressive power. A similar set up on the 1000s using brembo - just what you're describing. Don't know what they're doing wrong. Although the brembos on my ducati (older but radial) sort of suck too: spongy unless bled 500 times, and not progressive. The best to hope for from the rear is that it doesn't seize (the one time you can sort of feel it working). So maybe brembos are super sensitive to the controlling electronics or something.
I'd rather pay about $7,000 more and get a great bike like the H2 SX SE. Or buy any of the 2018 to 2020 with low mileage for about the same price. That said the GSX s1000GX looks like a winner for us old guy that are not dead yet.
Is $18,499 just too much for a Suzuki? Sound off below!

@@BigRockMotoHead lights on the 1050DE are great, way better than that GX and the 800.
I’m still glad that I purchased a Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello S!
Surprised that you haven’t done a review on it.
Might be an unpopular opinion but I think the bmw s1000xr is the best bike in this segment.
You spelled Versys wrong. 😊
Nice review - thanks !
Excellent review. Thanks.
Nice review 👍🏻👍🏻
At $19K, this bike misses the mark. You didn't mention it, but I'm pretty sure heated grips are an additional cost. I do like the styling and the legendary Suzuki reliability, but I think it's overpriced for what you get. In my area of North Carolina, Suzuki has some pretty aggressive discounts on this bike. Like you, I much prefer my triple cylinder and v-twin bikes over a four. Excellent review.
It's a shame they didn't make heated grips standard.
Suzuki will sell you a set for $450. Although for my GSX-8R I was able to order an OEM set from Japan for $200
Dunno why everyone is so infatuated with heated grips.
Now you have to test and compare the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX/1100SX.
Yes, Ninja 1000sx please Ian!
This would be against the versys1100. The 1100sx goes against the gt+
Versys 1100 is a physically bigger machine in my opinion.
s1000XR is the closest competition really.
@@kugangles9860 Perhaps by price. M1000XR is wildly more powerful, and expensive, but that's the M division of the brand.
Good video man
Love to see you review a new Husqvarna FE 350… just wondering your thoughts on the 350 verse the 501. I bet there’s a lot of us out here that would love to see your perspective.
Same
Ouch that bike is expensive for what it is (IMHO) 12 200,00€ here in EU
@ Yeah, they are great!
Agreed
A tourer will do
That triumph looks sweet, but not in the same HP class.
Modern motorcycles should definitely have significantly better headlight setups.
I agree.
I'm so out of touch. Couldn't bring myself to pay near on $20K for any bike. Great relatively new bikes around for half the price.
"Man discovers motorcycles depreciate and cost less used. More on this astonishing development at 11."
Yes he did the off road test the mad man!
ia in Ita! Grande, Bravo :)
Great bike, when the tyres wear out, or sooner! replace and swap the rear out for a 55 profile. That's a better solution than running the 2-up rear preload.
Great review Ian. I'm curious why your comparison bikes didn't include the R1250RS or RT? Too big a price gap?
Amazing review Ian!! As always, I enjoyed watching your analysis of a new motorcycle.
Here is my take - it is more sporty than a Kawasaki Versys 1000 (1100). But less roomy for taller riders like myself (6ft with 33” inseam). I compare it more close to Yamaha Tracer GT and honestly, Yamaha will be my choice out of these two due to inline 3 engine vs 4.
I am a fan of twin cylinders or 3 cylinders.
Also I believe that they should add heated grips and centre stand as default.
Well said!
Another comment, if that is OK to mention:
Last summer I visited Italy and really enjoyed renting NT1100 for one day spirited ride.
2. change the 50 rear tire to a 55 and the handling gets much better (instead of ramping up the preload).
thank you
What is the best sport tourer for the money or adventure style bike for the money if you don't plan to ride off road?
Great honest review of this bike. Although it sounds pretty good, at this price point of about $20k it is within the universe of the BMW R1250RT. I'm thinking another $3-5 K and you can get the RT, which I find is the best all around bike for touring and canyon carving. One big point is no 4 cylinder buzz. What are you thoughts as you've ridden both?
RT all the way.
@@BigRockMoto Yep, love my RT!
@@BigRockMoto Wouldn't the 1250RS be the more comparable bike? I guess the Suzuki is right in between, electronics, ergos, protection, and comfort-wise
Ian : loved your review. How did you find the up/down quickshifter on the GX ?
Nice bro....
At first it seemed like an interesting bike to me but the more i hear the more i go off it. I will stick with my KTM Super Adventure 1290 s for a while.
Great review as always.👍uk
I own both. Very different personality they have. However, I miss any of them when i ride each other
Is one of the bikes I keep an eye one, wanted to upgrade from a v-strom 650xt, but at least here on Spain, for the price of it is not appealing for me
Versys 1000 will be heavily discounted with the 1100 coming out, either would be great. Tracer 9 also if you want even sportier
@@djrandizz Im very tempted with the tracer9, Im added to the list for testing the 2025 model.
But there engines are rock solid..👍
Please review the BMW R1250 RS
I'm surprised in the comparison you didn't discuss comfort more given they're supposed to be tourers. The Versys I rode was more comfortable than my old Tracer and the S1000 I tried was incredibly buzzy, not something I'd want over long distance.
Is Gsxs1000gx incredibly buzzy really??
Still have a 2020 Tracer 900 GT and it's plenty comfortable. Picked up the touring seat, and it's very good, but the stock seat was excellent as well, just didn't have the contour bumps on it.
Overkill on the electronic gear. More stuff to go wrong. No thanks.
The headlight pattern is disappointing. I don't like that dark spot in front of the bike.
Wanted to like it so much. Just can't do 1000 miles a day leaned over like that. I don't think it is a tourer at all. It is just a gixxer with bags.
That's why I ended up on a Versys 1000.
Leaned over? On a GX? Do you have T-Rex arms or something?
Seems like a premium price for some not-so-premium traits.
Offroad riding 20:50 - put a bit more aggressive tires on it and it can go to all the places where 95% of big adventure bike owners would ever take their bikes.
Million dollar question.
Would you buy the Tracer or GX?
Tough question. Seeing that I already have a 2020 Tracer 900GT, I do not feel compelled to trade it for a GX. If I didn't have it, choosing between the Tracer and the GX would be a harder proposition. Used low km Tracers would be something that I would look for, as the riding feel will be similar.
Not a bad price considering the XR is low 20's new.
Do M1000XR
Seems like an on going theme with Suzuki. On one hand it's brilliant. But then on the other hand you can't help but scratch your head on things they miss. For instance... Steel braided brake lines is a must. To put top level braking hardware on, only to mate it to soft rubber lines. I understand cost savings, but that makes zero sense.
All brake lines are steel braided. The steel is inside and covered by rubber to prevent corrosion.
Don't seem to be top level.
@maximus - and you've done comprehensive scientific research on brake performance of stock lines? You think the mushiness he talks about in the video is due to the lines?
I brought gsx gx. No plus here in Malaysia. It is obviously we need the hard luggage n center stand😢😢😢😢😢😢
True... I'm not convinced of these bikes, ADV bikes offer more for the money in my opinion
Is $13,699 just ‘right’ for a Kawasaki? The Ninja 1000/1100SX is the best sport touring bike that Ian will NOT review…
Sound off below!
I think this bike is great, but about 2 grand too expensive. Quick improvements:
Swap for a set of actually GREAT tires.
@@exothermal.sprocket my local dealer has had one on the floor for almost a year now and that’s with a $2500 discount.
@ agreed that is also a factor. Confusing part is every GT model they get is sold within days or weeks.
@@soggywuffles882 GT or GT+?
Yes - $18.5k is too much for THIS bike as equipped vs the competition.
If you want a touring focused talk rounder, get the Versys 1100, they usually come with heavy discounts.
It you want the ugliest bike currently for sale, buy the Tracer 9GT+.
If you want a sporting talk rounder, get the S1000XR. Better yet, just buy the S1000XR, 1 year removed from new for 80% of MSRP. It just can’t be beat!
In the US you need a $3500 package on the BMW to add cruise control. You're comparing apples and eggs.
@ The premium pack with cruise as one of the included items is $2500, totaling$21,125 with destination fees and a 3 year /36k warranty. The Suzuki is $19,130 Sorry but the BMW is worth every dollar of the $3500 price delta after to you add the side cases.
They messed up this bike just because of footpegs position
Hey care to elaborate it a little bit? Really intetesting to hear
@@exothermal.sprocket I only know that multi/versys knee angle is much more better than gx
It needs more letters: GSX-S1000GX-SP1+
the best bike in the world? the one you ride on ;-)
$18k is not too much for any bike that performs as well as a Suzuki, lasts as long as a Suzuki, is as reliable and trouble free as a Suzuki. Why don't you ask if all those other bikes, that don't last as long, or aren't as reliable, or perform so well, are they worth what they cost?
V-Strom with electronic suspension, now we’re talking!
Since the dawn of motocyclies 200 years ago, beer bellies have been asking when will they make a GSXR1000 with upright ergos. Whelp, stop scratching your bald spot and go buy it. Good job, Suzuki only took yall 25 years.
19K??! Yeah... Pass. I like zooks, but man that's a steep price for what you get.
2025 already and many bikes have worse lights than 2000s models. Suzuki is not the brand it used to be, almost like they don't care about motorycles anymore. No innovation.. they sell reliability for the past 15 years.
Unbelievable - you get this bike ONLY for 19000$ ⁉⁉😱😱 We, in No-way, get it for ~ 29K $ ‼ This is an outrage !!! 😆
That is a very long list of cons you had there, too long for a bike that cost nearly 20 grand. Some are unforgivable like having to STOP and spend 20 min to adjust the windscreen. It almost looks like they left this to the junior engineer to design and NOBODY tested it ???
Yes, they really dropped the ball on this one.
They could have done better at this price, I agree.
I mostly agree
They should put this suspension on their V Strom.

@BigRockMoto yes and we'll worth it
In my opinion any new Japanese bike of this genre competes with used premium bikes from bmw and ducati.
