Just wait until holiday season when guests are expected and the weather won't allow you to play outside. THEN, start on the bathroom. She'll never ask again.
These words of wisdom come from a 74 year old life long bachelor.

Im not sure you have covered this in future vids, but when it comes time to install that liner 2 critical things. 1 please compact the bottom or "floor" areas of the pool. Since you have excavated out the materials anything that is now the bottom is naturally loose from excavation. This will ensure there is minimal shift and undue stress on that liner, helping insure against holes and tears. 2nd, make sure you get a thick, flexible, high quality, BREATHABLE underlayment material installed first. It will protect that liner from cuts and holes that can occur against the sharp rock underneath. You may need to double it in spots where pinch points and rub points exist. Remember that entire pond will shift and move over time, both naturally and with the weight of the water on the liner. The dynamic forces also play a part when the water is moving. Hopefully a helpful tip from a water feature / pond installer. Looks great so far !!!

All Admirals out there have that instant knack of bringing you back to reality, when you don't want to hear it. My Admiral for 29 years kept reminding me about the Kitchen / Dining room floor, managed to get out of that one by moving to a home where all the floors were finished. and the next pane shows the guy standing on a bough of a yacht with a smile, and the name of the yacht is "Baby's College Fund"

I am gobsmacked at how perfect that rock ledge turned out to be. Without a doubt, there will not be another rental in the area which has the features you are highlighting (and sometimes creating). UH MAY ZING!
A phrase that helps people push through challenges: “do what others won’t do now so you can do later what they cannot”. As you invest in your future retirement plan by having passive income streams developed, it grows faster when it includes a little sacrifice. Being happy (or happier) with what you have, repurposing your scraps, harvesting others trash, and reducing consumption are all difference makers. Compare all expenditure savings against what you would have to earn (pretax) to have the privilege/convenience of dropping it on a credit card (or line of credit).
Enjoy the weekend, see you on Monday sir!

Hello Mike. Around 10 million years ago, someone thought that a person like you would need a ledge just that, so it has been waiting that long for you to show up. I thought the strap job was to transport the mortar not lift it. Your worst plan, which this was not, is better than most engineers engineered idea.
