Hi Food Box HQ family 👋🏻 if you found this review helpful, I’d love if you could scroll up and click that LIKE button 👍🏼😊 thank you so much!
Just got my first box of 6 meals. I tried the Parmesan crusted cod and it was delish. I almost didn’t finish the cod because it was a big cut. My daughter tried the blackened salmon with fettuccine Alfredo and loved it. The slice of salmon was also a big cut. Filled both of us well. 💜
That looks great!I've watched almost all your reviews and really enjoy your informative format.Ive tried Hello Fresh ,purple carrot, butcherbox, home chef, porter road, freshly, sunbasket and gobble. All after watching your videos.Nice reviews!
Thank you so much Teresa!
Just tired cookunity because of your review and it has been great so far. I have found so many dishes to try. Thank you!
So happy to hear 😊!
Dear god just hearing you read off the names of the food makes me want to order it. It sounds yummy.
I had the Yellow Curry with Shellfish today after my 1st delivery and it was very good but since it had leftover curry sauce, I ended up microwaving some Costco Cauliflower Rice Mix and putting the curry sauce over it to feel more satiated. This and RealEats portion sizes are too small for me, but I realize Cookunity especially can be a base where you can add some more protein or veggies to make it a more complete meal. I guess that defeats the purpose since they are pretty expensive to start off with.
So,is this a higher end Freshly?.
What was the price for the six meals?
i do think reviews should include prices... i means that’s the second most important thing
you're right! we used to talk about pricing but then sometimes the meal companies change their prices later and we can't update the price we say in the video :(.
@@FoodBoxHQ thats ok just say the price of it at that time :)
How to I become a driver delivery please give me a link . Please please
My sister has Cookunity and loves it but they don't deliver to my area :(. What other prepared meal delivery service would you recommend?
Darn! Snap Kitchen is probably the closest option to Cookunity. You could also look into Factor Meals. We have reviews, unboxings, and taste tests on all of them :).
Anyone have tips on reheating frozen pasta dishes?
I just got them in my state and going to try them this week.
Nice!
What’s similar to this but has a bigger serving sizes that you can just throw in the microwave can you give me some options? I feel like that’s a little but on the light side tho it does look good.
Factor Meals (also pre-made) has bigger serving sizes and they also have add-ons like extra meats. Hope that helps :)
they have 800-1200 calorie dishes. you can sort by calories as well!
Bummer, I just checked them out and they don't delv to Michigan ☹️! I've discover two things in this pandemic filled world. #1 I did not know there are a "Bazzilion" foam mattress co. And a "Bazzilion" food delv company's!! 😷
haha so many of both!
Really bad site. if you want to cancel you have to talk to support because they want to force you into a conversation as to why....... what kinda trash is that? if they want feedback have an optional survey when you cancel your subscription. You cant cancel your plan or even delete your payment method you HAVE to talk to support...... I wont be using them again thats for sure
Thanks for the information
Eww sounds like my old gym membership I ended up writing a letter lol. I can’t take the pressure
YOU NMEED TO BE HARASSED AND NOT BE ABLE TO CANCEL!!!! YOU SHOULD SIGN UP AGAIN AND NOT BE SO GRUMPY. ILL SIGN UP FOR YOU !!!!!!! YTOU GONNA GHET ENDLESS MEALS TO YOUR DOOR !!!!!!
Can you please do some kid boxes do you do boxes when you make it all your self and just get the recipes
Thank you😅
can you heat meals in oven ? are the portions large ?
You can definitely heat them up in the oven. Portion sizes aren’t that big :/.
Ugh, my experience with this company was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a meal service
My initial box NEVER arrived, their site is confusing and they overcharged me! I reached out and they resisted! Never would i have thought a FOOD DELIVERY service would cause so much stress
They aren’t too popular, I’d think they would have better etiquette to retain customers but that isn’t so
Hard pass for me
And its also worth mentioning that their portions are quite small.
YOU deserved it!!!!!! YOU KEPT COMPLAINING SO WE DONT LIKE THAT
Nice review
Thank you!
I recently decided to try CookUnity based on your reviews ! All of the food looks so delicious as you say and their chef-made meal choices a sound AWESOME !
I will be receiving my first order this coming coming week.
When I go to order for additional weeks coming up, they tell me I have 13 days and 20 days to select my meals; however, I end up receiving the following message:
“We are sorry. There are no meals with this criteria. Try branching out with a new filter!”
Do you know what that means ?
Yay! They were super delicious. Hmm, I don't know what that means. Maybe be a bug? I'd send them an email if it doesn't work or maybe try a new internet browser?
👍on vid 😁
Doesn’t look like a lot of food.
Small portions :/
Oh man that's a turn off. I don't eat big portions but that's smaller than I normally eat
I don't know that I'd do it if I was living in Ohio, only bc grocery shopping at a Costco and having a proper sized kitchen makes cooking for the week much more practical. But living in Manhattan - grocery shopping is so damn expensive that just making my own burgers or lasagna is gonna be $20-40.
We use the convention oven. Plate these, maybe add a side (instant mash, riced cauliflower, spinach et al), and enjoy. My gf and I often get high calorie ones and split them as well. Easily the best food I've gotten delivered. No shopping, no cooking, no cleaning and no confusion when I look at my empty wallet/grocery bill - it's a no-brainer. We love the Charred Spanish Octopus (well-worth the +$6 upgrade!!!), the Sliders, Chicken Avocado Casserole, Lamb Moussauka, Pan Seared Salmon w Mustard Aoili - they all have that special restaurant flair. We also went from 8 meals a week to 16. It's still cheaper than just 1 night of eating out here and honestly as good or better than many of the $24-30 entrees (don't forget tax and tip!).
