    I have always wanted to try having a meal box delivered to my house but I am someone that really enjoy going to the grocery store and shopping for food myself, so I never really looked into all the meal delivery options that are available - you know the ones - hello fresh, marley spoon, dinnerly. i am pretty sure there are more.
    A few videos ago i gave the dinnerly meal kit delivery ago, and i really liked how easy it was and so when i came across another coupon code this time for Hello Fresh Australia, - i decided to give this one a go as well and compare the two.
    So here is my Hello Fresh Review or i guess, a grocery haul? Come along and cook with me and if you do end up trying these recipes let me know how you go!

    The thing I love about hello fresh is the meal ideas. It’s so refreshing. I love cooking but sometimes I’m not motivated because I can’t think of new meals to make

    I have been using Hello Fresh for a few months and I love it. The convenience of having someone else get all the ingredients for you and deliver it is great because I hate going to the supermarket haha, plus there's no food waste.
    Ps, I love how you describe the different ingredients, "a thing of bacon" cracked me up 🤣🤣🤣

    I think the issue here is picking Asian dishes when being Asian 😅 That has happened to me before and I try to pick more western recipes when it comes to quick recipes like this.

    The pasta looks really good, could be a nice option for this weekend but I was already planing to do a second batch of Yu Heung Kei Ji... So good. I will keep the pasta recipe in my back pocket. Your onion glasses gives you a Matrix style! btw, I like your Corn Flakes hoodie!

       @Janice Fung Yes, I did my first Yu Heung Kei Ji ever two weeks ago. I don't know if it was as good as yours but I followed your instructions as closely as possible. I really loved it! I prepare my meales for the office during the weekend so I don't get too busy during the week and it is healthier this way than eating restaurant food. At the same time, with the current situation in the world, I cannot travel so I try to do recipes from different origins. When I travel, I do it a lot for the pleasure of discovering new dishes.

    If you’re looking for a new grater I recommend the Börner V slicer - it’s a mandolin which will finely slice your veggies but there’s also a grater option. It’s especially good for stir fry as it chops evenly. Always make sure to use the hand guard though!

    I think you should invest in a Japanese mandoline/vegetable slicer, and maybe a garlic press too. Just makes things easier and more precise, plus I don't have to worry about you cutting your fingers off. You can also soak your onion slices in iced water for a couple of minutes to make them less pungent .

    • @JaniceFung
      @JaniceFung  3 роки тому

      yeah i probably will. it probably doesn't come as a surprise but i have accidentally cut myself when making a video haha.....

      @@JaniceFung lol, no, after you slice it. And it doesn't surprise me that you cut your fingers, even the pros do. Sure ya didn't buddy! lol
