Real Ale Craft Beer Reviews Flying Dog Double Dog Double Pale Ale By Flying Dog Brewery | American Craft Beer Review - Розваги
Flying Dog Double Dog now 12.1% alcohol by volume.
The Fear Pumpkin Ale. A lot of Flying Dog beers have reference to Hunter S Thompson. Really amazing Pumpkin Ale it is too!
I loved the reaction to your first taste! Mine was similar: "WHOA, hahaha!" And I stood on tip-toes briefly. One of the more intense beers I've tried. Sadly, Flying Dog beers are no longer distributed in my area.
I had my first flying dog last night. A doggy style pale ale. Absolutely delicious! Dissapointed I only picked up the one bottle now. 2 swigs and it was gone! Can't wait to try more from them.
Scott Morris Try this it's a monster of a beer!
Oh I will. Can't remember if I saw it or not in the garden centre I got the pale ale from. I'll find it somewhere though.
It's a powerhouse that one... Flying Dog deffo one of my fav brewers

Beer King I was spinning space invaders space cakes after this review .......
I love this beer i had it in denver before they moved to Maryland.
I had this and couldn't handle it, i'm 19 but have always loved unique ales but this was just too strong for me. I couldn't finish the bottle but loved the smell
Great review as usual.....going back to your local pubs video - my Witherspoons sells some of the BrewDog brews and they are, as you say excellent! Also - I hope NO Crows were stoned during this production LOL....
Seeeeshhhhh 2 8.7% gets me drunk i cant imagine a 6 pack of this
I like the stuff too, yet will contest some of the nomenclature on the label and of the reviewer. Double Dog is not pale ale. Take a new cent and compare its color with that of the ale -- the latter is neither pale nor golden. I suspect the reason for the rather high ABV is to balance the hop taste with that of malt which is used as profusely as the hops. Any malt sweetness is destroyed by fermenting nearly all the maltose out of it.. With all that alcohol, I wouldn't recommend seconds. Any more that one bottle would be de trop. With its strong flavor, I wonder whether and food might harmoniously accompany it.
I drank a six pack of that last night and got hammered
lets fukkin go lol
Bitter, Strong taste...got me gukced up though
lol
Surely it's best described as a double IPA. Not sure why they wouldn't call it that when clearly 99 people out of 100 would call it that if it's as bitter as you say. That sort of thing annoys me.
Simon Godden Yes a double or even a triple IPA, each to their own though I suppose.
Imperial IPA. From a Double IPA I would expect around 8%ABV not 11.5% ...
Its called a double ipa now
This beer is only for real men! Been drinking it for years, Drink up!
