YYZ is the IATA airport identification code of Toronto Pearson International Airport, near Rush's hometown.
The band was introduced to the rhythm as Alex Lifeson flew them into the airport.
A VHF omnidirectional range system at the airport broadcasts the YYZ identifier code in Morse code.
Peart said in interviews later that the rhythm stuck with them.
Peart and Geddy Lee have both said "It's always a happy day when YYZ appears on our luggage tags."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Geddy Lee - vocals, bass guitar, synthesizers, acoustic guitar on "Resist"
Alex Lifeson - electric and acoustic guitars, backing vocals
Neil Peart - drums and percussion

Thanks for including us! 🔥😁🤟🏻
I had seen every one of those reactions except 1 before seeing this. ]:P
'dudes :)
Andy & Alex, you both are the best!!!!! Rock on and keep lovin' the rush!!!!!!!
I was glad to see you too!
60,000 Brazilians singing a song with no lyrics . That's the power of music . 🤓🤓🤓 RUSH = greatest rock band ever !!!!
I love this format where you show everyone speaking at the end instead of over one another
Yes, very novel! It's like they are having a conversation.
Thank you!
So neat how you combined all of these reactions as a single presentation. Excellent !!
Cool to see the different reactions together.
Sinto muito orgulho de ter participado da noite anterior, na cidade de São Paulo, do show desta mesma turnê do Rush. Meu sonho de adolescente foi finalmente realizado: Rush aqui no Brasil. 💫✨🌟🙌🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇧🇷
Me arrependo muito por não ter ido!!!
I think you've nailed the one-at-a-time format for the end!
As I get older, I’m always looking to save time. This is fantastic🤟 nice job
The fact that it is just a trio is absolutely amazing.
First time i ever see the whole crowd rocking to the bass line , so happy these good folks were able to experience 3 of the most talented musicians on 1 stage, cheers from Toronto Canada home of the greatest 3 man band ever, heartfelt & honorable mentions to fellow Toronto Canadian thumpers.. TRIUMP
Such a great format...........please continue to do this with more artists.
This is a very creative and great format. I really enjoyed how you synchronized each video reaction with the music and then had each reactor give their summation afterwards. Well done.
you guys do great job love rush seen them 5 times
you take 3 musicians of this caliber and you let them play together for 40 years and they get tight
Awesome! Well done sir!🤘👍😎
Fabulous job editing to sync up all these reactors as they watch the greatest live band, EVER!! And to think, while prepping for the concert, Rush said they were not sure if they had a large fan base in Rio!
Kudos on you! Great job!
Brilliant idea! Executed quite well!
Edit: Just watched another video that did not let each reactor speak independently at the end. I prefer this one where people's final reactions are shared. (Not to mention that it is more respectful of the providers who let you use their content for free...) ;-)
Great! Thank you!
One of the all time greatest live performances by a roach band!
Awesome!!!
great review y'all!
Very nice work
When I find 3 other channels like yours who combine videos from first time reactors, I am going to make my own channel where I put the 4 multi-react videos on my screen together.
rush is masterful.
Now you’re talking!
wow what a work!!!
YYZ in Rio is pure gold✨✨✨
GREAT!
Masterful in all respects and aspects. There isn't a single human being in their right mind that wouldn't recognize the top flight world class display of sonic power and beauty from just 3 master musicians. Rush is in a small club where fate would bring people together have a musical chemistry that gives the world a gift. Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath,The Beatles.A few more I can't think of right now.
RIP Sensei Peart 😌
Nice editing.
they just leave you speechless!!!
Nice!
"They have a long career to look forward to."
>facepalm
Rush has been around for years. Ha ha ha!
@@rubenpena4984 46 years as Al, Ged, and Pratt.
yes, i think they have potential!! lol
RESPECT to those RUSH guys.
YYZ my Home Town
Namaste, Enoma :)
2112 Overture, Temples of Syrinx- that’s when they got me, that album.
Rush is so nervous up there... hehehe
I love the concept, but maybe turn the song volume down a bit in the future, so we can hear everyone! Great vid!
And you say Infinity War is biggest crossover ever
I don't care how if you play, if you can play YYZ on the bass or drums perfectly then you are a God.
3 guys! That’s it! 🇨🇦
Was there singing along
*RUSH RULES!!!*
💜💫✌🏼🎵
Need to add Lost In Vegas....those guys love Rush....
YYZ the airport code for Toronto, Canada my home town and Toronto's home town band. the dashes and dots at the start are Morse Code of the airport. Lester B. Pearson Int. airport
When the audience sings and instrumental..................
LOL NICE IDEA!!!
must be hell to cover lol
should also do a reaction to rush 2112 the illustrated 20 minute song. ]:P
Noted!
Super
Alex lifeson should be up there with the best guitarists. He's in my top 5
Pushing the post-modern envelope.
South America fans are crazy. Remember Soccer is popular there and concerts like this rare. I was there the week before, it was insane, I wasnt able get tickets. But it was a was festive party.
In Brasil.
Listen to the people: 4º "Musician"...
Worst thing ever is for a parent to have an unenthusiastic kid sit there and watch without any emotion at all. This kid looks like she'd rather be anywhere else besides sitting next to dad while he "explains" the video to her. Some parents just have to realize, just because they like something doesn't mean their kid will and it is painfully true by this reaction; bottom middle. Honestly, I'm embarrassed for him.
It's damn sure not just the kids. Touring here in the U.S. is friggin dead. There's almost two whole generations now that will have never gotten to see a live concert, or will have had the opportunity to do so. Personally, I think it's a result of the "other side of the shtty blade" that is UA-cam and other music platforms. It's killed touring because bands and artists don't have to tour to support their material. It's a shame...because the kids and younger fans spend their money too...they simply know no different.
Brady Bunch reacts.
Metallica - enter sandman in moskow pleeeeaaasee
Weaboo never shuts up.
U guys gotta stop with all this later in their career stuff. There is WAY BETTER material from the old days. This is NOT even a debate! Lol
