I love the way Boston always puts a big smile on everyone's face. Ot's just so hard to comprehend that there are people who have never heard these songs!
Brad Delp could hit notes only dogs can pick up on and come running. Not one bad song on that entire album. R.I.P Brad Delp, thanks for the voice and tunes, to rock out to in the car or neighborhood house party!
I remember when this came out !! Went right to the stratosphere!! Such a fun and uplifting band !! Always loved them!! Their harmonies are phenomenal!!
This song is now 44 years old and it's still amazing people when they hear it. Love it!! I was 17 when this came out and living in Boston and thought then it was one of the best albums ever, still do.
This song was recorded back in 1975 in the home made studio located in the basement of Tom Scholz's house, without all the modern technology we have today. Nothing but grit and hard work!
I was 14 in 76. Bought this Album the first day it was available in our small town. I've bought it on vinyl, 8-track, cassette and CD. Boston. What more needs to be said.
When you realize us grandparents had some pretty rocking tunes back in the day. My grandkids tell Grandma " Paw Paw's always plays his old music so loud out in the garage why ? " I love it
I was 21, when this album was released, and living up at South Lake Tahoe. Quite the party town, as I remember.....& it was on just about everyone's playlist.
@@MultiReactAThon I never heard anything about him being in the area. Favorite track from that Boston album? At the time....it was 'More Than a Feeling'......but but nowadays I would say 'Foreplay/Longtime'. My favorite stuff from YOUR channel, have been the Pink Floyd multi-reactions.
I really enjoy the sense of community that your videos provide. Bringing together 8 channels at a time and showing them all at once makes me think of them as the 'UA-cam Music Club' or something, like they all know each other and hang out for beers on the weekends.
In the year 2525 people will all still be sitting in their chairs watching UA-cam dancing away to this iconic roller coaster anthem of rock n roll happiness - even though its a sad song... brilliant
I was 15 when it came out. I loved it and said it will be a hit. I did not know it would be this big back then. The music we had back then was incredible.
I was in the 7th grade when this song came out. I bought More Than a Feeling on 45” vinyl. Smoking was the “B” side. I went back to my local WoolCo and bought the album the next day.
FYI....Tom Scholz took 5 years to get this song together, writing and playing all parts (except Brad Delps vocals) and recorded it in his basement before there was a Boston recording contract. That's when the band was put together, especially needed for touring and promotion. Saw them in Toronto in 1977 and it was amazing. Brads voice was perfect and the whole band....incredible. Also, the Maryanne in the song was Toms older cousin who he had a crush on when he was about 8 years old.
Thanks for putting all those reactions together. I feel lucky that I was about 26 years old when this song came out and that I got to experience it first-hand. Today's teenagers and young people in their 20s missed out on so much good music that was playing on the radio back then in the Elvis to Elvis Era. (Elvis Presley to Elvis Costello). A quarter of a Century, 1954 to 1979 of fantastic Rock & Roll.
Founder and guitarist Tom Scholz actually wrote and recorded ALL the parts to every song on this album BEFORE he actually formed a band! He also basically invented the "Rockman" guitar effects amplifier which soon became a standard for a lot of bands.
Can remember listening to this album with my pals after taking the PSATs when it first came out. 1976. The next year was Frampton Comes Alive. But, as much as we loved this stuff, along with Aerosmith, Foghat, Cream, Tull, Skynyrd, Nugent, Bowie, Santana, et al, we all really wanted to go to a Zeppelin concert, the top Gods of music. What great time for music. On the near horizon, Sex Pistols, Elvis Costello, Talking Heads. The ‘70’s, we had music. It did suck, otherwise, pollution, acid rain, Watergate, Vietnam, Jimmy Carter, stagflation, Cold War, gas shortages. Kids today, missing the struggle that creates such amazing music.
Eagles, Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker, Sabbath, Rush, Charlie Daniels, NRBQ, Grateful Dead, Earth, Wind and Fire....could go on and on....driving around in my 1968 4 door Dodge Dart searching for a basement to hang in with an 8 pack of ponies and a nickel bag....
laura kali and Genesis, Yes, Springsteen, Van Halen, Police. While still getting good stuff from the Stones and Who, Stevie Ray Vaughn, BB King...my head hurts so good.
This my friends is rock perfection. Most don't realize that much of the debut album was written and recorded in the late 60's! Brad Delp is without a doubt the greatest male vocalist of all time. For those that are unaware checkout the band Beatlejuice. During his downtime with Boston he played in a Beatles cover band. Check them out on UA-cam. Close your eyes and you would think it is the Beatles!
It's my understanding that this album a first time album for this band was conducted and completed in one of the guys home basement talk about Talent buddy
Bless you Weaboo. LOL 😉 GREAT SONG, & I enjoyed watching the reactions of everyone. GOD BLESS Y'ALL, & GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! OUR HOME SWEET HOME. 😎 👍🏽👍🏾👍🏿🇺🇲🤘🏿🤘🏾🤘🏽 P.S. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! GOOD RIDDANCE 2021!!!
There are only two Boston albums you need in your library ,,,, The "Boston" debut album, and their follow-up second album "Don't Look Back." EVERY tune on these two albums should have gone Platinum! Seriously! All their other albums pale by comparison.
The Indian guy called Savio in Mumbai [Enoma] often makes completely irrelevant comments which are politically related and biased against the West and particularly the UK. They delete any comments that point out when they give out wrong facts about these issues he's determined to bring up. They say they do relevant discussions but they often don't, he gets very angry at what he sees as other cultures or countries outside his beloved 'Asia'. In the meantime they say they only do relevant discussions and want honesty, openness and love, but he's very hypocritical.
When this came out, nobody had ever heard anything like it before. How is that conformity? Every guitarist bought the fuzz box that Boston’s guitarist, Tom Scholz, invented. You, my good man, are talking out yer ass...
You must be under the age of 20, so you don't know how many sounds Boston invented which were later taken for granted --- or, got called 'conformist' by people who have no sense of context or musical history. Everything you heard instrumentally was ONE GUY. So, yeah, you can shut up now.
I wish Brad Delp would show up in the middle like the Brady Bunch looking at you shaking his head in approval. RIP Brad and thank you!
How could anyone not like this song? It's sheer perfection!

That voice. A gift from the rock gods.
If you'll notice, the spaceship on the cover is actually an upside down flattop guitar...
With the city of Boston on top of it!
I like the format at the end. Much better than everyone talking over each other. Thanks.
I agree! Thank you!
MORE THAN A FEELING...DEFINITON OF THE PERFECT SONG.!!!! BOSTON DO MORE LOVED IT!!!!

One of the best debut albums in history
Not even to mention that Brad should absolutely go down as one of the best, if not the best counter tenor in history with those high notes.
Yep !! Stratospheric!!

More than a feeling is exactly what music is about. It takes you back to a time you place you remember. And the feelings you had when you were there.

Must always include Weaboo. Happy to see India here too.
The greatest freshmen release album in history! Rip brad your one of the goats of vocalists!!
Just when you think lead singer, Brad Delp, can’t go any higher........ he does. 😁😁
Boston's first album is (to me) one of the top 5 debut albums of all time. So good.
AWESOME voices 0:08 and a real musical talent
Awesome Boston song to run with. Thank you so much :-)
Produced in their basement no fancy equipment. Like see any today to even come close!Real tallent!!!!!

Greatalbum
Unvarnished, unadulterated, pure multi-octive vocal greatness, Brad Delp. Catch that last high note - and then one note higher.
Best debut album ever and just another example of guitar rock
This is a great idea, guys. Love it!
One of my go-to songs when I'm inside of my head blocking out the world 😁
