Phil Collins a great singer , musician and actor. He's one of the best drummers in the world. Even today, I'm still listening to him as of 4/04/2024 .😊

Not only is everything you put true but it must have been hard getting the timing exactly right so he would get to his drums at exactly the right time which he did.
That opening bass, the walk...the slowwww pressure, knowing, what's coming, the anticipation: controlled. We all know what's coming, we're all waiting for it... Phil walks the stage probably counting every step to get through to the steps and to those drums. Awesome prep performance. And then the moment comes......Ecstasy if you love this...I don't know who can't love this.

Every single step he take is learned. So good. You must learn. He's mother was en Actor. Sorry about my bad english. Genesis: a history. So you can learn what he did. I love this man more then my on life. It's true. Phil Collins as an actor. Buster and Fraud. Soundtracks: Against the Odds. Ok. The lovely hot together between Rachel and the Big Lebowski. So far so good.
And look at all those people who wish they had a recording from their position to get nostalgia from. Many of my best memories are photos and videos from my experiences. Having an exact shot from your position by yourself gives you a nostalgia rush like nothing else.

to keep pitch on point live is impressive by itself but to also play drums while singing is incredibly difficult, most people dont know how hard it is. this is one hell of a performance.

I am 76 and I think he is great!!!
This performance is better than most movies.
It was better than any film i've ever seen, and no film will ever come close.
❤
It's been said that this live concert is one of the greatest...IT IS THE GREATEST...Phil Collins and musicians, demonstrated PURE TALENT and GENIUS...will NEVER be another performance that can come close...my humble opinion.

Playing the drums this way and singing clean notes at the same time... what amazing talent!
This will never get old. I am listening in loop for two hours now and still get goosebumbs!
Your name stood out. Many years ago I listened to Eric Carmen…nice!
Eric Clapton also comes to mind when seeing your name…keep your favorite music on loop and roc yourself
from the feet up!
Samaa mieltä!
И это сделано в 1979 году. Невероятно
I'm Proud of you Eric
Another 2024 in Jan. Will never forget the first time I heard Phil sing this..."Miami Vice" as Sonny walked in the dark.
As an old man of 76. I can say...This is the absolute TOP sound and voice of my life. And I was born in 1947.
All of the SIXTIES, SEVENTIES and EIGHTIES Follow this one for sure. GOD BLESS PHIL.
Excellent
I'm 27 yo. I'm watching this video now. Heard it for the first time months ago. I'm crying now and I don't know why.
❤
This song was perfect for Miami Vice! This song is perfect, great performance by a great artist !
72 years old. 2024. still love this...
This clip and video makes me hold my breath everytime I watch it. It is so intense and it gets greater when he sits and plays the drums.
to keep pitch on point live is impressive by itself but to also play drums while singing is incredibly difficult, most people dont know how hard it is. this is one hell of a performance.
Roger Taylor ...

@fire4ev I agree 👍
@@pmueller4397 Yes! And Don Henley...
Totally agree. He’s amazing.
That was absolutely amazing! He timed it perfectly up the stairs to the drums and killed it! Wow 😮😮😮
