I’m going on 70 now and have always ❤’d this Phil Collins/Genesis song since it was 1st released, which was even before THIS 1990 concert! It’s not only due to the music, lyrics, Phil’s voice, the backing of Genesis, etc., but mainly bc of the memories it brings back from those days gone by. Being a Baby Boomer might mean that I’m getting ‘old’, but I’m still glad to have been exposed to the 👍 music from those years (and other things too - many of which no longer exist). It’s a shame that a lot of the music many of the younger people listen to now and consider as being the ‘greatest’ ever DK what they’re missing out on, and it’s sad 😢 . (* I can even remember listening to this particular song in my 20’s on a Bahamas Club Med vacation - some of the good ‘ole days for me.) BUT today, thanks to technology, we are able to continue to enjoy this, and other great music that has been preserved and made available to the world 🌎!

@@mubblemann No, this version is much nicer. The intro is very strong here with the guitar combined with the keyboard and the keyboardist's robotic voice. Knebworth is also great and based on the same version like this in berlin. This is also the best Phil Collins band with: Phil Collins, Chester Thompson, Brad Cole, Leyland Sklar, Daryl Stuermer.

Legendary! As I say, One of Phil's Collins most known, Legendary hits that he had ever made in his career and in the history of music. He entered his solo carreer in the best way possible with this hit, and still to this day, it has it's effects, and goes well. This has to be the crown to Phil's work and tracks, a masterpiece, and you literally can't be a Phil Collins Fan, or a Rock N Roll fan, without knowing or liking this hit. The lyrics, and instrumental plus emotion in this track can't be matched, heard and used around the world in movies, games, shows and dominating the radio. M.
