Jeff! I love these videos! I just got an amazing deal on a 2017 x1Drive fully loaded! I am watching all the videos to get all these tips because I didn't get mine from a BMW dealership, so am on my own to figure things out. Can you do a video on the variances of Eco, Sport vs Comfort? and I always have to turn OFF the 4 wheel drive, is that the usual situation?
This is the best vehicle I've driven so far and I've driven a lot of German cars out here in Stuttgart (American spec, not crappy German spec). I don't know how I'll ever be able to drive anything else again and this isn't even my car. I bought it as a bribe to my wife. (If you're going to get it get the sports package at the bare minimum. Those seats are comfy and I'm accidentally blowing away people on the road just in comfort mode and I'm not an aggressive driver. The thing just takes off and with that sports suspension I find myself doing 130 Kilometers without even realizing it. The fastests I had the balls to take it up to was 160 Km/per hour and it was still riding extremely smooth with no vibrations.
I looked at the NX200 and it wasn't for me either. I like the ride but if sound is important to you make sure you get the upgraded Harman Kardon sound system
Hello Jeff. I just found your YTube Ch and subscribed. I also always riding bike same as you. I am planning to buy BMW X1 to bring my E Mtb to explore further out from my home. bring my bike to Bike Park or trails. I have a questions for the front BMW X1 LED lights. Is it all 4 light will glow or only 2 light ? There is 4 ring, I always saw only 2 light on not 4. Thanks mate
Hey Jeff, thanks for doing great videos, i recently bought the M Sport in blue color. Is their a setting to auto close open the side mirrors when you start the car.
I don't think its available in the USA but if you have it; go to settings, Doors/Key, scroll down to bottom where it says 'fold mirrors when locked'. Hopefully its in a future software update in the USA. BTW - love the blue!

back seats are definitely big enough for 2 car seats and trunk is big enough for two strollers. Like I said in one of my vids, I think the trunk space is actually bigger than my 2011 X3. If I can easily get 2 bikes back there, you can fit 2 strollers. For MPG, I get 23-27 mpg depending on my driving and settings- vid to come soon on that!:)
Ya, instead of paying 1k for a metalic color (Mineral white), we choose to go for the Alpine white, which is way cheaper, so we can spend that money on the sound system.

I have Lexus nx200t and hate it, it’s slow and I’m thinking of this car. I’m looking for a smooth ride and good sound system.

We're planning on getting the X1 xDrive 18d Business Xline, do you have the regular sound system? we are going to get the Harman Kardon system.

No, comes with LED headlights which are more powerful than xenon if you purchase the premium package otherwise you get standard halogens

nothing wrong with Halogens just not as bright as LED or xenon and they have a slight yellow tint to them - but its what most care have.

How do you adjust it to white?? I’m currently on a overnight test drive with a 2016 X1 and the too much red was my thought as well!

Gina Barbera vehicle setting>lighting>interior>instead of classic select sport for white lighting
You can also control how bright they are so you can make them super subtle or even turn them off completely
It looks a like an 80's disco with all the red lights in there. Very kitsch looking.
You can simply select a neutral white color for the interior led lighting... if the red is too much for you
To stop my nav on my cheap car.. I just push one button and say "Cancel Route"
