- stitch it, don't ditch it...let's have fun messing about with fabric and free machine embroidery, and repair my jeans! So often clothes are worn out but still favourites. so here's how to fix up and keep using some dear old jeans! #stitchit

Its good to see someone sewing up the holes as I'm soooo sick of the ripped jeans so called fashion and will be glad when it's done, I really don't understand in the middle of winter people getting around in the jeans with not just holes in the knees but several slashed holes the length of the leg, also denim shorts and skirts all torn and threads hanging off them, they pay extra for clothes that look worn out!!!
people probably thought the same about the mini skirt...or the farthingale! trouble is all the rebellious fashion has been done!😂maybe this video will help reverse the trend as you say! x

You've inspired me to patch the knee on my jeans, I had previously darned them but that is now failing. I'm going to use a bit of denim fabric with free motion stitching that I've trimmed from the edge of a notebook cover I'm making!!

Yep, Visible mending is now ‘on trend’
I’ve been patching my jeans forever…but more recently I have joined the visible mending theme and use bright colors.
nice one Lu, love it! What fun you can have! I have stitched some with colourful threads/fabrics too, this was my more sober 'blues collection'!! 😂
