Hi! The algorithm brought this video my way today, and I am going to stick around to see more! I like the freedom with which you approach this process. I am generally a patternless creator (I mean there can be themes but I don't use patterns) but I do struggle with really opening up to let improvisation come through. Subsequently my work sometimes feel half-hearted, or at least not representative of whatever I consider my style to be. If that makes sense. 5 weeks ago I broke my leg, and now I have all day every day to see what I am capable of creating! Such a blessing, this opportunity to reset. I also feel a great deal of potential in my life, which is pretty novel (at my age I had been missing that!). Thanks for sharing!
lovely to know you're doing ok, nothing like something stopping you is there! a blessing in disguise so well done you for seeing that! I just find playing brings in everything, takes me out of my head and into the joy of creating. let me know how you get on! xx
That background is going to look beautiful, can’t wait to see your next stage, thank you for sharing xx our weather in Deal Kent is also a bit random, boots one day, and today sandals again 😅as you say,it gives us something to talk about 😊looking forward to next week xx ❤
thanks Mandy, it's quite exciting...no idea where it'll go! I'm guessing you've had some nice hot weather down there! I did buy extra ice creams just in case we get more! xx
Loving the background you are putting together, so much potential! I've never been to a stash swap but I do go to a plant swap where we all bring cuttings, seeds etc and go home with something different. It's great fun! I'm spending a lot of time being creative - quite honestly it's all I want to do at the moment and I get totally absorbed for hours!
that just sounds blissful, I love that amidst the turbulence we are finding peace and joy thro creativity...and sharing! I love the plant swap idea too xx
Enjoyed your video today and can relate to almost everything you said about change and possibilities (I'm 56) apart from having my creative space in my home office instead of my living room. Also, thinking about if I should trade in my two sewing machines for a new, expensive one! Look forward to seeing what you're making next.
The threads look so much like the tangle of hedgerows. I can't wait to see how you are going to bring this together.
thanks Chrisitne, it's so much fun just to play with all the pieces, here's to them making sense eventually! xx
I can't wait to see where this takes us! I love your way of doing things! just wonderful! and very inspiring! greatings from East of France
