Def Con 32 Badge Mini Game Completion

- This is the fastest way that I’ve found to complete the Def Con 32 Badge mini game and collect all three cats. It was completed using notes and steps that I contributed to the full Google doc instructions. My goal is to help others find the end of the game. This is not a perfect run. There are routing mistakes made when I’m running towards the final cat in the locked room.

I can't wait to get a chance to play this and then do some serious hacking on this amazing badge! Such a cool product with so much potential.
Wow, they really stepped up the badge from DEFCON 30, which was just a mini synthesizer (still cool, though)
Step 1: Go to floor 1 top Car Hacking Village (Open Van with Code 1337)
Step 2: Go back to the right hallway on floor 1 and down 2 rows to the hallway with Vending machine in the middle, obtain water
Step 3: Go to the left hallway and down until your screen switched to Floor 1a and then go down the hallway on the right to the lock picking village
Step 4: Open Cabinet with lock sequence 4,2,1,3
Step 5: Go down left hallway on floor 1 until you reach registration
Step 6: Enter registration and give the water to the lower left person (Nikita), receive bedazzled shoe
Step 7: Head to third floor using the left hallway and go to the social engineering village
Step 8: Turn in Bedazzled Shoe to the person in the upper right, receive phone
Step 9: Go to floor 2 in the left hallway and go to Telecom Village
Step 10: Turn in Phone to person in the lower right, receive microwave
Step 11: Go to floor 1 left hallway and go up one screen and to the top of the second, turn right into hallway and proceed to middle, go up two screens and take to person outside of AI village. Receive screwdriver
Step 12: Proceed to left hallway on the third floor and head to the top left
Step 13: enter Ham radio village and turn in screwdriver to person in the upper right, receive key
Step 14: proceed to far right hallway and head to the top set of cones, enter room one above it (video had routing mistake here)
Step 15: head to first floor right hallway
Step 16: Continue up until Vendors area
Step 17: In front of Cat statue stand on the middle Def Con logo
Step 18: Open portal and proceed in
Step 19: Celebrate
Step 20: Stay in final area to keep all green LEDs lit in badge mode
If you get a question wrong how long do you have to wait when it says come back later ?
I'm actually not sure. The game wasn't saving at this time so whenever I got a question wrong I would just reset since it would do it anyway. I tried it once after a few hours though and it still hadn't reset.
How did you get the car code?
@@mr.atomictitan9938 There are three ways. The first one being the intended way to find it.
1. After you get the key from the ham radio guy you go to the third floor “super awesome room” on the right side and talk to the first NPC. They say “Finally a place that’s ‘1337’ like us” which is the code to the bus
2. Another is that 1337 is a common hacker/leetspeak number
3. Brute force try every combination until it opens
