They’re literally very different games… I think where bayo 3 fails is the camera angles, lighting and graphics. The gameplay and plot for the most part are stellar
As someone who loves hack and slash type of games, this game gets my honour, beautiful boss fights, very well designed character and enemies, wonderful and hilarious dialogue, and ⚠️spoilers⚠️ a very sad psyche at the middle of the prologue (Jeanne dying) which is the plot of the story (Bayonetta has 24 hours to rescue her beloved friend from the gates of hell before it's to late, and funny enough to me, I found hilarious the fact that we need to take the boss to Jeanne's Gomorrah's mouth.
Makes you wonder if the inferno creatures also was just regular animals until they went into inferno (I just gotten into the bayonets series I don’t really know all too much)
Lol! I just realized that the part where Gomorrah climbs the build is a reference to Godzilla 1998 animated series (my first and favorite movie and series from my childhood) 5:14

This is the game that introduced me to this series, and it's also the only one I've been able to finish. The timing for activating witch time is much more forgiving in this game than it is in Bayo 1. (Unless you're playing as Jeanne.) I couldn't finish the first game. Getting through that HQ tower segment leading to Balder and Jubileus was too difficult for me.
A little thing ive noticed especially in 18:00 with glamor is that mostly the angels just really want the kid and they will kinda ignore you to prioritize him just like baulder just a little detail :)
