Consumer Tip: Locate your town's actual "walk in" Locksmith Shop...and take their business card and/or put their contact info. into your phone. This guarantees that they are a legimate shop for you to call, when needed. Also, ask them to recommend an "emergency all night locsmith" - who would be able to help you, after their own shop closes for the day.
I am a locksmith in oregon and start my service call in Salem 39 then go up for surrounding areas and set service fee prices. Rekey with key 20 per lock. Etc... FYI I am 9 years experienced. Also I didn't know you could send google pictures and get them removed because we have 4 currently in Salem Oregon. Thanks for the tip.

I put the state ID website license check link on my webpage, even if I'm not hired I urge them to check if a person/company is legit!

The ole "Israeli locksmith scam rings" a real thing, use to work for one ---- if you call a local Smith and it goes to a call center -- hang up.
