      Вы, наверняка, имели в виду следующее:
      "Учим английский, посредством просмотра обучения русскому на английском, по мемам."?
      П. С. "По средствАм" - это значит "Денежные траты, в соответствии доступности финансовых ресурсов, человеку". Например выражение "Нужно жить по средствам".

    My friend who lives in Russia said you have Jason Statham memes. Can you talk about that?

    • @bshthrasher
      @bshthrasher 2 місяці тому

      Well, yeah, first there were just memes with men's quotes, like how to be a real man.
      Then someone thought they weren't convincing enough, so he signed 'em as quotes from Jason Statham, because some boys wanted to be like him.
      But then, someone, who actually knew these quotes weren't from him, decided to make fun of that thing and signed totally ridiculous quotes and other stuff with Jason's name, and then it went viral :)
      For example, there's a saying "The job is not a wolf, it won't run away into the forest."
      But here's a version from Jason Statham (as if): "The job is not a wolf. No one is a wolf. Only wolf is a wolf."
      Google this to see more (choose pictures): смешные цитаты джейсона стетхема

    10:10 no, no “очень приятно” literally means “very nice*”
    In this case, it was used more like in the case of saying “you’re welcome” when you’re given a gift.
    Example: «Он мне подарил букет цветов. Это было очень приятно!»
    Example 2:
    - «Вот вам букет цветов.»
    - «Ой, как это приятно!»
    So, the friend left a snake in her shop, and she’s like, “very nice gift”.
    *Edit correction: “приятно” literally means pleasant. So, it’s “very pleasant (gift)”.
    This works with “nice to meet you”, because you’re essentially saying “very pleasant (to meet you)”, which is similar to “it is my pleasure to make your acquaintance”.
    But there is another use of the word “приятно” as “pleasant”.
    For example: «приятный массаж», «приятный запах». (pleasant massage, pleasant smell).

      Kazakhstan - very nice

    • @sparrowarchive
      @sparrowarchive 2 місяці тому

      yeah wanted to correct the video on it too! I would translate this "Очень приятно" as sarcastic "very nice" like "oh nice a dangerous snake in our store, how pleasant". In russian I would say it as in "еб*ть спасибо нах*й" meme with penguin.

    • @anisnissa
      @anisnissa 2 місяці тому

      You're wrong here. We do use "Очень приятно" as a "nice to meet you". Yes, it does translate literally as "very nice". But we don't use this phrase when we get a present. It is like a "приятно познакомиться" ("nice to meet you" literally), but with "very"/"очень" and without "познакомиться" because it is obvious you are talking about meeting someone whe you are introducedto each other. Try googling "очень приятно, царь" to see the phrase in action (it's an iconic scene of an old soviet movie)

      I'm Irish, but I can only speak very basic Irish so unfortunately, my Irish is not good enough to teach someone. I speak Russian a lot better than I do Irish. I do have some advice for you though. When you have learned the basics, consider coming to Ireland and doing an Irish language course in the Gaeltacht.
      There are areas of Ireland where Irish is the main language spoken by the people living there. These areas are known as Gaeltachtaí. They do courses there for people learning Irish. It's very common for teenagers here to spend a summer in the Gaeltacht. They also do courses that are for adults too. I want to go at some point to improve my ability.
      The courses are immersive language learning experiences. You go and stay in the Gaeltacht for a number of weeks. During the day you take Irish language classes and in the evening there are cultural events such as traditional Irish music and dancing. Everybody speaks Irish there, so it's a great way to improve your ability.
      If you are interested in doing that at some point, look up "Gaeltacht courses for adults" on Google. There are a number of different websites and Gael Linn has a list of places that offer courses, with links to their websites and contact information.

    Theres a good russian show on Netflix called "луче чем люди" which is about artificial intelligence and robots. At first it took me 3 episodes, to tell whether or not the "robot" was a real android or an actress playing the role of the robot. I am still not 100 percent sure. If you are looking for suggestions for future videos, this netflix series is good in my opinion although, the only thing that I dont like about it is how much violence is in the show but theres a lot of violence in many shows. It just hurts more, mine the pun, if you have been beaten up many times like I have. So it flares up my post traumatic stress disorder... especially how the bullies in the show falsely claim to be the victim. Thank Goodness the female robot kicks all the bullies asses, I hope we see more of that.

So Southern dialects of Russian are a bit close to Ukrainian. We even have some borrowings because of geographic reasons. Like буряк or бурак is a Southern word for свёкла "beet" and comes from Ukrainian

      im russian and for me both of these variants sound different for some reason LOL even tho they mean the same. But yeah you can use both of them. There are a lot of rules, but in daily life we are breaking them completely. We can use different word order, wrong words, swap them with swearing words and people will understand us. You can notice that a lot of rules are broken in these videos, like word order. So firstly you need to learn the rules, to be able to break them later, so you will sound more like native speaker. "a ya ne mogu" is one of the examples, even tho "no ya ne magu" is grammatically correct
