8:44 I like to think that this drastic change in artstyle and cinematic tempo is Miyabi's mind no longer drawing on concious details and a realistic throughline of events and turning towards her beginning to daydream. The subconcious mind is now in full force with much more impactful scenes that incorporate only pieces of ideas and memory.
U should definitely look into Asaba Harumasa's character trailer. He is also from Section 6, which Miyabi is the Chief of. His first impression for the fanbase was some goofball that lazes around but his trailer showed us smth quite different and very very intriguing. It rly showed that ZZZ is at the end of the day, a Hoyo game and the lore can get pretty dark/tragic/sad. Please do his trailer next.
It's cool that they show her swordplay in a lot of different animation styles back to back because the character is of course all about the art of fighting. It's almost like nothing else matters to her except for a few rare moments in the plot that demonstrate she does in fact have a personal life too, but I think she has no problem with letting people believe that she's basically a fighting machine.
Hope to see you react to miyabi other trailer it shows how she became a void hunter. The other new character and his trailer is also worth checking out
Not sure how much of Zenless you have played but what happened to her mother was Ether corruption, which is either from being attacked or having no/little natural resistance to ether. And the Ether in this game is like Mako from FF7 where it's a natural and mythical energy that can be used for energy but too much exposure leads to your body crystalizing and becoming a mindless being.
Very well done video the breakdown was amazing. Will you be reacting to Miyabi Character Teaser it's also in anime style like the animated short with lore on who she became and the team she formed

Considering how she is during the trust events she is a very deep daydreamer.

Your should see the gameplay! My M3 Miyabi isn't fully built yet, but is already as strong as my 2nd strongest character.
Interesting , the scene when she draw the sword in the train, that is the technique used to draw long sword or normal sword but at small space
I recommend Asaba Harumasa’s demo as well! It had such a cool and tense atmosphere and had such a different vibe to it than initially expected!
