Super short unedited video showing what jaboticaba are trying to bloom and fruit currently. I thought I'd at least put out some sort of video than nothing at all lol.
@NofsJungle thanks so much. I just can't make enough time to film and upload a proper video right now so I just threw this out just to check in 😅. Hope all is well with you!
Great video my friend your trees are loaded with a lot of flowers and fruits! Seems like.a beautiful day! Really miss the East Coast. Hope you are doing well!
Wow, incredible to see so many flowers and fruit on you Jaboticabas, G! I need to try and get some red hybrid seeds again, the last ones which pre-germinated ended up rotting after I planted them 😢
You definitely can grow them. They overwinter indoors pretty well. I certainly cannot keep these outside all year in my zone either. Thanks for visiting!
So sorry about the delayed response. These all vary in age but most all of them except the Red hybrid is grafted. Each are at least 4-5 years old from grafting. Thanks so much for watching!

Wow…so many flowers and jaboticaba fruits. May I ask what’s your secret? 😊. I only got a few flowers and then they dropped unfortunately. Hope mine can be like yours some day 👍❤️
No particular secret other than they want a acid medium, almost constant moisture and fertilize with Holly Tone. I plant mine in about 80% peat moss and 20% perlite.

Amazing to see all those flowers G, I'm wondering how many years I'll have to wait to see flowers on my sabara, if ever 🤪🤪
@lyonheart84 they definitely test your patience as far as waiting for flowers and fruit. We gotta get you a Red hybrid or Escarlate.

@PeterEntwistle yes Reds are the most precocious and rewarding varieties to grow. I hope you can get another shot at growing it or even Scarlet
