I think it's more that Bowie just genuinely likes Eugene because Eugene genuinely loves dogs. Eugene was the best "dad" any of the dogs could've chosen and Bowie chose wisely.
My Australian Shepherd is veryyyy clingy and usually doesn’t like other people but when he sees someone that matches his energy he will get attached to quick.

I got my basset when I was living at home saving for a house, and in the 3 months he really bonded with my parents. To the point where the only time he doesnt bark at the door is when they knock.

@@_sob_ Doggie therapists don't exist. Some issues can be helped with training, but some dogs are so deeply traumatized that they will never be able to live a "normal" life.

I don’t know anything about dogs, but I think Emma really did feel comfortable with Keith, except when he repeatedly said her name, that’s when she got scared.
And put her in a bath of running water 😳 if i learned anything from my dog it's to always fill the bath tub first and then put the dog in. He also lifted her up and held her in the air above the water, which i think made her think she was going to drown her. Poor baby ❤
I love how as soon as Maggie got home she immediately was able to handle Bean, I think that says a lot about the good energy she has ☺️

Honestly! Like I completely don’t agree with the decisions Ned made but I don’t want it to sully all of their previous videos that are so calming and entertaining! I can only imagine what they are all going through now that they kind of have to re design their channel.

I feel like ned would've done better with Emma and Keith with pesto, because ned's situation would have moulded better to Emma and her anxiety because she would get to just do non-stressful hanging out, and pesto doesnt give a damn about anything so Keith could've had his fun with a rather quiet, laid back and adorable pesto 💛
We have an Emma-type (same breed even, I think), and she does NOT like kids. They stress her too much. I think Emma would have been very scared of Wes because he's a flaily baby who wants to touch her. Pesto was the sweetest. I love that he's just like, "Yeah. Whatever. I'm fine."

AxisDens But I think it was also because other than Ned, only Eugene tried to adapt with Bowie. Others were just trying to do what THEY wanted to with the dogs.
Eugene was like, ‘our common point is activity so we’re gonna be active’. Keith didn’t try to understand Emma’s issues until the end & Zach made zero connection & only treated Bean as an experiment to discipline which I felt really bad about.
Eugene really was the only one who adapted his behaviour to the dog tbh

Your dogs need to be able to be safe and have controlled energy but you also need to let just be dogs and have fun. It doesn’t always have to be so regimented. If your dog can sit, come when you call, stay so they don’t jump, and don’t bite then that’s honestly all you really need. Eugene gets it
