This guy is the most mysterious UA-camr. He'll appear every 6 months, drop the best color grading tutorial on the internet, then disappear for another 6 months.
So what youre saying is he's about 5 months overdue. Agreed.
Still waiting him to show up
hahahahhah yeah you re right
damn I was thinking this exactly, I've been looking for so many channels information he just explained me amazingly.
where are you ??????
I watch a lot of color grading tutorials and I have to say that no one comes close to the way you explain the science and the process of color correcting/grading. Your tutorials are very concise and effective! Please don't stop posting, keep up the good work!
This is the best colour grading content on UA-cam. Thank you!
Period!
Came here to say the same thing. Kudos, Avery! I'm learning so much. Much appreciated!
I think so too. Except sometimes the audio has echos. Great content!
Can you do color grading For my Music Video ?
I would pay a good amount of money if you ever put out any deep dive courses. Best content on UA-cam. Thanks so much for every video.
Thanks a lot for this tutorial! I'm seeing people do this all the time and I had no idea how bad it was until this video. I hope you'll come back to UA-cam soon to give us some more tutorials, they're honestly the best color grading tutorials on this site and I feel like there's much people can still learn from you.
One of the best Color grading Channel. Thank U so much Avery for explain everything so well
balancing highlights and shadows poorly is my area of expertise
I just started using Resolve two days ago and I can't say how glad I am to have discovered your channel. These are hands down some of the best tutorials I've ever seen for any software. It's so nice that you're back just as I find out about your channel. Keep up the amazing work! I already feel like I've learned so much from just a few of your videos.
Hands down, after watching a ton of videos for many days to be able to understand grading better for a project I'm getting into, this 5 min video has been the most concise, to the point, best explanation of how to balance colors in a shot! Thanks a lot! Subbing right now.

I would love to see a full video about using the log wheels. I think I get how they work, I'm just not sure what the best way to use them is. Great video as usual!
Really. This is the best tutorial I have seen. Hope he has time to post more of these tutorial. 👍👍
Where have you been man, your grading tutorials are the best! We need you even more now with influx of new blackmagic users and BRAW. What I dont see a lot is grading Highkey beauty shots that make the skin glow and smooth.
Such great info - concise and super-valuable!
By far the best CG Videos! Can't understand why people are disliking your content! Keep up the great work!
I've been desaturating the shadows because it worked and I honestly didn't think it made too much of a difference with my videos but there was one video I had that just wouldn't look right and this fixed it. Thank you!
Fantastic tut. Quick and straight to the point. Thanks Avery
Great tutorial, effective, well-made and straight to the point. Worth a suscribe for sure !

Thats amazing! Great video, Avery!
These are literally the greatest color grading tutorials I’ve ever seen
You’re on a roll, Avery. Yet another useful tutorial. Thax man!
You are so helpful and so good at what you do! Thanks
I've been watching so many color grading tutorials lately by so called professionals and pretty much all of them desaturate their shadows. This is the only video I've seen without this technique and your way of balancing them makes much more sense! Amazing content, I'd love to see more tutorials by you on the different parts of correcting and grading your footage.
Amazing work. You're very mature, talented , knowledgeable and professional. Keep'em coming!!!
There are some very good youtubers out there explaining color grading and general Resolve usage. But honestly, these are the best. If I have to guess: He is secretly working as a voice over artist. I mean, he just makes you listen. A rare gift.
I can't get enough of this channel...

This is was so helpful! I've always been terrified of the primary bars, so thanks for demystifying them for me.

Great tips! Learning something new every day :D
Great tutorial!
Best color grading video for sure
So awesome! Was so sick of this Aram K dude. This learns you the right way and also helps you understand why it works this way. Thanks you so much!!
This is really great content! Thanks.
Good stuff. Thank you for making this.
Great info!
Yep, I am very glad you have returned to UA-cam. 10/10 Channel with 10/10 Content. incredible information! Keep it up!
Thank you!
I can't remember if it was one of your tutorials that I learned to use to color bars for White balance, but I did a couple months ago and it really helped me a lot. It works much better for me than the white balance slider, or desaturating did whenever I miss stuff in the field.
Thanks for that gem at the end about using the log wheel to clean out your blacks. I have been keying black, and desaturating the darkest parts of my shadows (with good results), but this seems more effective and best of all much faster!
Can't wait for your new tutorial
Excellent Avery, as always ! Would really love to see how you deal with bad highlight rolloff.
You are the man Avery! I'm gonna use this for sure. Would love a video from you on the way to use all the different node types: Serial, Parallel etc. Just a thought, cheers!
You are a genius😊😄
Thanks for your Tutorials, they are helping me so much!😍
Very good keep up the good work
Avery you are a legend you need to come back more frequent, and if you had a tutorial class ill buy it
Thank you! Balancing with Log wheels works great for this purpose. I always had ugly desaturated reds in shadows while using Luma/Sat curve, and wondered what am I doing wrong. Looking forward for more tips.
Hey...very helpful video. Thanks for making.. Keep doing!
This was so frickin good
Thank you for your tuition! 5 stars!
wow never learnt so much about grading in 5 minutes... ultraa helpful
Good Tutorial Thanks!
Thank you, A!
best color grading tutorials
This was so friggin helpful. You're gonna blow up soon, my man! Such an underrated channel
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
This is masterclass info.
This is so useful and at the same time fixes so much misinformation out there, that it should be promoted as much as possible.
Great video for VE and Cinema Colorist on primitive RGB balance.
Thank you.
i'm a fan of user the "printer light hot key" to make broad balancing adjustments. I've even applied colored stickers to my keyboard's numberpad to help remember what does what :) its a bit more of a blunt instrument but great for initial balances
Hit the like button, leave the comment and then watch, as always, you're amazing, dude!
Great video
Best grading channel about! Learned so much from your channel. Please do a Children of Men colour grading tutorial!
