Great video I’m thinking of buying one just like in the video very helpful thank you 🙏
Excellent review. Great to see all the tests and plenty of factual info. I'm convinced!
Thank you for watching!
Hi Dannii & Joe i love watching your Vlog. Im 65 and came across your Vlog a month ago.you work so dam hard together. And so dedicated. Much love to you .♥️🙏🏽🤘
Ahh thank you so much 🙂
I love my River 2 Max
ran my Beko fridge freezer for over 11 hours
Awesome! So handy to have
I own the EcoFlow Delta 2 with the same 220W panel Jo demonstrated. It came with all the cables but I did buy a Solar extension cable. After 4 months use I am very happy with it. I own a camper van , Narrowboat and a small farm. I would recommend these units. Just buy the one that fits your needs. I am going to add the additional battery pack for mine.
Ahh bet that’s really handy being able to switch it between van/boat & farm! That’s next on our list a small holding somewhere warm!
@@DanniandJoe Yes. The way I use it is an addition to the fixed systems already installed. Works great for me. The wiring can be changed nicely to integrate the EcoFlow. I also have a Honda suitcase generator that is very economical. In fact, at the moment it is cheaper to charge Batteries with the Honda than from the Grid!! But even this time of year, I rarely need to run it. Just a bloody good backup.
@@EnglishVeteran oh wow wouldn’t have thought of using the generator for that! Handy to have both just incase. We’ve got a cheap Impax one from Screwfix but if we were reliant on it we’d go for a Honda
@@DanniandJoe I have the EU 10 I . Quality, light, quiet and very economical. Not cheap though!
HI Joe, I love these various power Banks. I have the Orange ones😀, but am always interested in the latest updates regardless of the manufacture. Great test, and an excellent edited video. Thank you. Hello to Danni.
Thanks for watching! It’s always good to keep up to date with the new tech coming through
Sadly, they don't seem to make units to sell here in the US. I was really interested in getting something to use in Winter storm and tornado seasons over here. Being a long-time viewer/subscriber to your channel, I'd say you make a good product tester/honest reviewer. I trust you to tell me the truth on such product reviews.
Best of luck on the van re-fit, as well as the boat! --Dan
Thank you for that! It may be that our link takes your to the European site - give this a try if you’d like a look us.ecoflow.com/pages/portable-power-stations?aff=11
@@DanniandJoe, thank you! Yes, that works. Now to figure out which one I need, LOL!
The Bluetti EB70 is £649 at the moment, river pro 2 is £749. From what I can tell the river has Bluetooth and a 200w higher peak surge (but a 200w lower sustained wattage). Be interesting to see a comparison of similar units if they do reach out too you.
That would be an interesting comparison, very closely matched!
Thinking of buying one so really useful video- cheers
No worries! Let me know how you get in if you do go for one!
Just managed to get a river 2 pro for £656 brand new. Was £729 on eBay but had a 10% off code up to £75 😁
That’s a bargain!
Excellent & very timely too as this is my choice for my boat …. Could I ask what extra precautions re the marine environment do you take ? … Thanks …👍🏻
That’s great to hear! We just use as is & have been getting on fine!
How about Freezer or fridge? Heater. Or fan . Great job 😊
Would be good to test charging all of those devices from flat as they will pull more amps
That’s a good shout
Hi Joe. Did you ever test this unit with an empty ebike battery? If so what battery is it you use buddy? Thx
Danny, I know I can ask the company on their website you know if that can run my central heating and how long. Four. Love the videos mate
What fuel do you have or running it on electric? Could probably work it out easily enough if I knew the appliance! Thank you!
@@DanniandJoe cheers mate, I’ll find out. I’m sure there’s a plug by my boiler, but thanks for that.
Nice one joe that stat against the orange one was mad last 3 times longer WOW have a Top week 🙂🔧🦢✌️
Cheers! Yes crazy differences between the two!
Great review Joe!!!!
Thanks Clara!
i have myself the pro version of this that im using my computer for i get about 9 hours if no load is running.
Joe: I wonder if this'll charge all of these electronics?
EcoFlow River Pro 2: Are you having a laugh?!
😂😂
It would be good for the hurricane season.
Yeah they’ve also focused on these being able to be immediate backup for power cut situations
Would this power a camping/porable induction hob? weve recenty been camping and our anker power bank didnt do the trick or our coffee machen. Thanks
Depending which induction hob it is it should do - for example the Vango twin camping hob states 800w which is exactly what this puts out + this will run at 1600w via X boost.
This also runs our coffee machine fine, but take a took at the Delta 2 as well as that’s a little bit more money but quite a bit more output for AC bits!

@@DanniandJoe perfect I’ll give it a look. Iv just returned the anker so think I’ll replace it with this or the bigger one.
Thanks for your reply
Hi Joe, many thanks for the excellent review :-) I'm on the verge of buying one of these for our Defender 110 camper but have limited space. I'm getting mixed dimentions for the unit between websites. If you get a moment could you tell me how tall the unit is? Currys has the height at 226mm but another website has it at 260mm - sods law I've got 240mm to play with!!!
Ahh wow that’s close! Unfortunately we’re away until July but can measure it when we’re back!
@@DanniandJoe Hi Joe, no worries at all, many thanks for getting back to me :-) I managed to get a reply from EcoFlow yesterday confirming its 226mm tall - I have space to play with!!!!!!
Great video, looks a great piece of kit 👍
Cheers!
Really informative. Would love one. Now you got a new one can we have your old one. Lol.
Thanks for watching! Gathering a bit of a collection 😂😂
@@DanniandJoe you would and all. I only want one. I’d even come pick it up. Lol.
good video Joe, hoow does this compare to the fuel versions?
Not managed to get my hands on one of those yet but would be interested in comparing
hi Joe thanks for the upload ref the river pro 2 we have a narrowboat i am thinking of getting the delta 2 and taking it to use when we go cruising are they really as good as everyone says im just a bit concerned about charging it using the good old uk sunshine when it actually appears lol take care both of you cheers buddy .
Cheers! They’re a great addition to the boat. In summer you’d charge it no problem with the solar alone, winter on the other hand you’d want either hookup or through the alternator & with an inverter.
@@DanniandJoe cheers for the reply I may look into ecoflow take care buddy 👍
Hey, what camera have you used for the inside the boat piece. Great quality of picture and sound.
Do you use a microphone?
Thanksss!
Hey! We recently upgraded from our iPhone 12 to a Canon Eos R7 (with a second hand 17-55mm f/2.8 lens). We also use a Rode Video Mic NTG which sounds really good too!
I dj on tiktok looking to do lives outside so looking for a power bank few people said the jackery but more people said this one is better how long do u think i could dj outside for with my dj controller laptop and speakers.
You'd need to work out how many watts/amps that setup draws to get a number. Could be hours could be minutes depending on the size of your speakers!
@DanniandJoe Ok nice one i have no idea the watts ect there small speakers tho surely this product for the price to should at least run most thing's for a hour or for how much it is. I may get one still. cheers for the reply 👊🏼
@@DazTv2k what are they like a pair of studio monitors? Like KRK’s etc? Online it says those are only 50w, even if that’s 50w each a pair of them being 100w, this River 2 Pro is 768wh so the speakers alone should be OK for 7 hours), laptop charger might be 60w, DJ controller would be minimal. But based on a pair of KRK Rokit 5’s and charging a laptop I’d say you’d be good for 4 hours pretty certainly. If you can plug in a little solar panel even better!
@@DanniandJoe ye man respect the im gonna go to currys this week and look at getting one on a payment plan nice one 👊🏼👊🏼
wow great demo
Thanks for watching!
What was it like charging the ebike battery? I'm tempted by one of these for camping in my van with an ebike 👍🏻 thanks
I want to re-test with an empty battery to give a fair test but think it would do a full charge or two.
@@DanniandJoe if you could, that would be brilliant. Before I drop a load of money on it 😂 thanks
Thanks for the review. We have a narrowboat and are stuck between the Delta and River Pro. We need it to run the laptop for a few hours each night or the TV and PS5 for a few hours, will they both do this, or would you recommend one over the other?
Just checked online, the PS5 uses around 200-300w, which would give you a couple hours out of the River Pro, (712wh), laptop would be negligible, TV may be 150w, so would bring it down to under two hours usage. I would probably aim more towards the delta for more capacity. I’ll see if I can plug a couple bits into the river & delta that I have and see if it tells me anything different time wise with say 500w of appliances plugged in
@@DanniandJoe that would be great thanks, we have a 25w tv if that helps
Just going to buy one
Awesome! Let us know how you get on with it
@@DanniandJoe decided on the delta2 😁👍
you could try an air fryer 1000w or 1500w
Very good look out for your weekly blog and all get is advert
Check how long it will take to charge your e bike battery from say 30% to full
Can you charge leisure batteries with them? Cheers
Hi sorry for the delay - yes in theory you could run a battery charger off of it & then connect the ecoflow up to a solar panel
Let me borrow it ... and I will tell you what I think 👍🏻👍🏻😂😂
😂😂 Would love to start a boaters borrowing library thing where you can borrow whatever tools you need, would be so handy!
Good video thanks lee
Glad you enjoyed it!
Joe what power bank have you got for your phone? I’m in need of one and not sure what to get. Also did it come with the little pouch? Thanks mate
Used to swear by the Anker ones but they’ve gotten quite expensive, this ones Iniu off of Amazon, 20,000mah minimum really if you’ve got a recent smartphone! & yes came with the pouch
@@DanniandJoe thanks Joe. Great vlog as always
Cheers!
Really intestested does it come with the solar panel?
The panels are separate but there’s a few different sizes to choose from - you can connect to any solar panels (even rigid ones)
Hey Joe - I'm a dumb old fart & don't understand "Coffee Machines" .. what's wrong with a kettle and a 'plunger pot' (French Press) & home-ground fresh beans? Perfect real coffee every time ..
A nice short & very strong cup of coffee that you can then add a load of steamed milk to, can create cappuccino’s, flat white’s etc etc! 🙂
Hi mate, would it run a microwave by any chance?
Would be pushing it - the Delta Max would be more suitable, possibly a standard Delta for a small microwave
@@DanniandJoe ok thanks :)
Hi Joe, will the ecoflow run airfryers?
Hi, the Delta range would no problem at all, the smaller Ninja air fryer for example is 1550w, the Delta will power 1800w continuous & even higher with X flow!
That's impressive Joe :-) great review very helpful
Thanks Will!
Joe, I hope you neck is getting better.
Thank you! Just getting there now!
Good job Danni is a nurse , shame she is at work with that gashed finger 😮😮
👍
Cheers!
Not fit for your boat , ok for a weekend camping , delta pro top range fora boat 😊
Yes ample for weekends, we’ve found the Delta plenty for the boat!
What price was it on sale for at the time of making this video
£749 I believe!
@@DanniandJoe that’s the normal price of the item
@@jokerxd407 yeah I don’t think they ran a discount code when we made this video
@@DanniandJoe ok 👍🏾
Not bad at all. Not you, nor the testobject!
Cheers!
