I got word that Plini is above all and above Guthrie however having heard this not even close! He is good but musically not on the same level as Guthrie and Nick Johnston.
Seem like nice kids with some musical chops. But for me it lacks the depth of Alan Holdsworth,John McGlaughlins music. The whole overdriven echoed guitar has become so overdone, it sounds generic. You can't tell someone's individual voice anymore.
