I know this boat! My boat partner and I made a nine-month sail from Blaine, WA to Portland, ME from 2021-2022. We had the pleasure of meeting and sailing off and on with James and Tanya on our way to Mexico. Whenever we were anchored nearby, we looked forward to our invitations to come aboard Stella J. Our 40’ cutter was basic and reliable, but felt like camping. Stella J felt more like a home away from home. James and Tanya were the most meticulous and punctilious cruisers we met throughout our entire trip. We admired their “spare no expense” approach to quality and safety when it came to Stella J. I realize that all good things must end, clearing the way for life’s next adventure. I hope the next owners show Stella J the same love as she continues to provide safe adventures and life-long memories.
Hey James, I watched all the videos. Really really awesome endeavor you guys did. Congratulations. I live in Vancouver and have been to Blane. What a small world! Oh well, it has been a pleasure following you two. Fair winds to you both. Cheers, Fernando.
I own an 1989 IP 35 and can assure those interested that this boat is priced right, it will not last long. Sorry to see you two go, enjoyed your videos. SV Drifter
Thank you so much. Its sad for sure but life is still beautiful😁 Stella J brought us to Mexico and we've found happiness down here. I will always be grateful for that.
I've enjoyed your video's and got inspiration from many . She's a great boat, I wish my wooden flooring looked like yours! There is an owners group on farce book under the name of island packet yacht owners association which has a good audience. Best wishes for the next chapter in your lives......
