I'm in the middle of a personal project rigging a 2D character, but so ready to move on to doing 3D rigging with a quadruped character next. Looking forward to seeing what you cover in this to act as a great jumpstart!
Can't wait! I was just about to rig a character so that's nifty timing!
This actually solved a lot of questions i had about rigging, sweet!
This video is so useful! So many things i just learned today in this 20 min video. Maybe not for pure beginners but it's enough for me. Your presentation is also nice and quick, love that.
Nice
Good job thanks for tutorial 😊
Great vid! Rigify is a bit mysterious at times, you streamlined it well.
Woohoo! Character related videos!!
thanks man :) I've been struggling lol got stuck a while back on an IK/FK switch rig
make a part 2 of this
Awesome!
very cool tutorial, I have to test it out, I think I learned a lot but I always struggle with rigging and with rigify, normally what I do is because of my needs is I delete a bone or a group of bones, the rig does not generate and stops working, can somebody help me? I normally what I want to delete is facial bones or maybe one finger
cant wait !!!!!!
Can you do more videos regarding your style of lighting?
Thx 太感動了~
godd
I just started working on modeling this little guy from the original video. I guess I only have 39 hours left to finish it.
2 days away. I'm ready.

For some reason the "in front" option doesn't work on part of my models in Solid mode?
couldn't find samples in Blender 4.2
Same! I just updated to 4.2 and my samples menu is not there. Anyone Know a solution?
@@hhboyo It took me a while but I found out what we need to do. When you get your rigify base rig just TAB (select) and go to EDIT MODE and the samples selection will appear on the right.
@@leongachuiri3626 thank you!
Shotty, have you tried out AI yet to try to create a script in blender that rigs the character.
Upload a few screen shots of the character from different angles, and also tell it the overall dimensions (arm length, total body height).
From those pieces of information, it should be able to generate a full rig. All the aspects as long as you guide it to do so.
Haven't tried it myself, but it's a path worth trying
What AI would you use for this?
@@hhboyo - placing the meta rig (ie, and aligning all the bones properly to fit the mesh precisely - no tweeking needed. I know you can use various tools, but AI...
nobody want it ,we have ai gen.
