For anyone that doesn’t understand the purpose of the sound every time you successfully hit the note/button, it’s so you can hear if you hit/missed the note so you won’t waste attention on checking if you hit or missed it, you will just hear the noise and know. You can assign diff noises to each button so you can tell which button you pressed instead in case you hit the wrong button. This allows you keep track of your common button mistakes and improve. (Ex: you hear the “a” noise often when you miss a b, so you can remind yourself to be careful not to press b when you should be pressing a.) These things are helpful when you are playing fast songs or on higher levels of difficulty. Rhythm games can move fast, so things like this are needed to help you not slip up as often and stay focused.
And yes, you can turn it down when playing rhythm games in case it bothers you or is distracting.
That sound help me immense me while playing any rhythm game tbh. Project Diva, Idolmaster, etc.
I love just how much he seemed to enjoy this game. He legitimately seemed to be enjoying himself throughout, even when he got angry.

Very surreal thing that happened, but I'm so glad it did. This stream was genuinely very fun and somewhat cozy just seeing Jerma acclimate himself to Miku and vocaloid culture. Of course it's gonna be strange to him, he's a psycho from Boston, but he also gave it his best and I really respect that.
I hope this wasn't just a one-off stream and that he plays it again.
