Hey thanks for making this video. I’m rebuilding my engine hoping it’ll run again and had question about that stiff feeling at the top of the crank after you put the sleeve in. You explained it perfectly and confirmed it was ok, so honestly and truly thank you lol

@@smartguyonan9972 gasoline won't work and it will destroy the engine very quickly you have to add castor oil to the fuel. Try using ethanol and castor oil
Hey man, awesome video! I learn so much from your videos because I use alot of SH engines myself. Quick question, I have a brand new SH .18. The other day I tried tearing it down but had a really hard time removing the piston and rod. In fact, I have a werks b6 engine that does the same when I try to remove the piston and rod. Super frustrating. Any suggestions?
Yeah they can be kind of frustrating sometimes depending on how they were machined but the engine that you have I have no experience with to be honest with you.
Difficult starting poor compression and and and Jeanette shuts off when it warms up and will not restart until it's cool off completely and very short run times in between that
If its the old style rod the whole will be at the very tip of the rod the new one has it underneath the Top pin board with very little meat there they are very prone to breaking
How would you remove the sleeve from the carnkcase if you do not have the conrod and piston? I've tried freezing to shrink whole block, but couldn't move the sleeve.
Heat the block a bit put a few zip ties in the exhaust port turn the engine over it will Lift the sleeve out of the block enough for you to grab it with your fingers do not use pliers or anything metal against the sleeve as he will damage it
@@thebug4046 I think we may have misunderstood each other. I have the sleeve stuck in crankcase, and I don't have the conrod+piston to be able to push it out using the zip tie method. Is there another way to get the sleeve out of the crankcase?
