Our first fully-dementia ward is opened at South Tyneside District Hospital.

Chris Cairns, our Nurse Consultant for Older Persons, has helped develop our first fully-dementia friendly ward.
This has been set up at South Tyneside District Hospital.
The changes have been made to Ward 8 and include new signs, a colour scheme and lighting.
