      With good suspensions and if you maintain sufficient speed without braking, you don't feel the relief of the rocks much... (but you need iron balls 😁)

      GoPro's smooth out all the jarring. Most of these bike runs look like they're floating because of it.
      @Jan Solo - GoPros can remove quite a lot more than you're giving them credit.

      @@infinitydreamzz have you done such a sport yourself? I would say its different from person to person but in this case i bet he just zoned out like most? people do, since you also get "used" to it i would argue its just white noise in such a speedy run where your brain has to cut out many things in order to just concentrate on ur task. I also think it can boost your confidence

    As a guy working an office job, Im amazed that this is humanly possible. The hand-eye coordination and stamina of this guy must be off the chart. Absolutely crazy

      Try mountain biking, I'm an architect and I was always in the office, drawing plans etc.. Then I got myself a mountain bike, and I actually feel so good whenever I'm on the trails, It made me realize that there's more things like this outside my studio that are so much more enjoyable.
      I'm obviously not even a percent close to the guy in the vid but yeah, I still enjoy it lol.

      As far as I can judge ge's pacing himself and taking off a little speed and force on the "calmer" sections and then goes all-in again in the tough ones.

Not to mention that it almost certainly was filmed in 4k but, for some reason, they only uploaded in 1080.

      @@Wockaflockafish I can see him slow down, but's it's hard to tell if he is really losing time there because I can't see the bumps in the terrain or the steepness very well from this perspective. Maybe he needed to slow a bit to get the right path for the wheels. You can also not steer when flying over the bumps and notches. I don't count slowing down for that as losing time. But maybe you are right :P It's impressive either way.

    I normally watch these as is, but I had to shift to a skiing mindset and tried to see the path rather than the obstacles. Even then one of those blue boundary posts seemed to pop up out of nowhere. What insane concentration and skill

    Bruh I flinched and leaned back on that first turn!😂 I’m not even sit here & gonna lie!! Those trees scared me towards the last half, one slip and your clavicles are gone! This is the real definition of intense! That rider deserves more than just his sponsors in my opinion. These riders risk there lives just for this sport and all the other sports out there.

    I struggle to sense the speed these guys race, except for this run. The only way I could genuinely tell the difference in speed on this run was the way that the air horns sounded when Amaury went past. I've never experienced audio like that on a final bike run. The sound is unreal just hearing all of that whiz past you and keeping your focus. Some of those lines weren't even lines! Madness, big up

    I dont even know what to say. Ive seen so many scary vids, but few come close to this. How you even had traction to make those turns is beyond me. It looks lome you were barely touching the ground at times making those turns. Absolutly incredible. Superhuman. Nuts.

      It's amazing how he can control the ride when it is borderline out of control the entire time. There's something sketch happening almost every moment throughout the ride.

    That was flat out AMAZING!!! the praise was well deserved, that was an insane ride that made you cringe and turn your body with every movement. One wrong turn and you could have been either seriously hurt or in the cases of the trees, dead!!! Thanks for this.

    I got into watching this sport when Aaron Gwin was bursting on the scene and at his peak in the early years...I never thought I'd see anyone as quick as him. This run however, is so much faster than anything I've seen before. Just shows the advancement in technology and sebsequently in riding skills

    Amazing. At first I was confident you could learn a track that well, then it seemed to keep going for a while and finally it went to wondering how the hell you don't make any mistakes in a technical run that long.
