Not really sure how to answer this lol I didn’t experience much marrying. I just made sure to wash every 4 weeks and not wait too long to wash/retwist. I know in the beginning of my Loc Journey when I had starter locs I used a application brush to apply my shampoo to my roots so my locs didn’t unravel and kind of stayed in place but I cant prove that helped or if my hair just never needed to
