    I share your sentiments...I love my locs and can't see myself going back to anything else. And in terms of the frizz my hair is exactly like yours and no matter how much I crochet them the frizz always comes back out within a few days lol. But wouldn't trade them for the world.

    Beautiful locs they have gotten so long your retwist came out looking amazing ❤️🥰👍🏾👏🏾🤗 I’m 10 years in with my locs as of last month thinking about trimming them shorter because they are waist length now love every bit of this journey.

      Thank you! Believe it or not, I’m actually waiting patiently to trim mine. I have a lot of weak spots near the ends. Maybe I’ll wait a couple more months.

    I want my hair to grow longer but... I'm just really nervous about the loc method! My hair is very fine and I'm just on the fence on whether to lock or 2 strand twist. Im tired of the drawstring ponytail, and need something new!!! What's yr thoughts? Please advise! Thanks❤. P.S. I'm about 4-5 months in on being natural, I cannot believe I've gone that long without perming😢

      @@April-gh9gp first and foremost… congrats on being natural for 5 months! It’s not easy esp when you’ve relaxed your hair for a long time but I hope you recognize the reward in it. I suggest thinking more about locking your hair before doing it. You can always go back, esp in the beginning but it’s best to know your “why”. It may seem scary, but it’s a journey that pays off much later in the process so it’s about patience and loving yourself and your hair through ALL the stages. I suggest starting with 2-strand twists bc your hair is on the finer side. The areas of my hair with looser texture took the longest to lock. I also recommend finding a loctician in your area that you trust so you can ask more questions and find the best method for you! I hope this was all helpful. Thank you for watching my video! ❤️

    How long do you go between retwists?

    • @ohthatstaneisha
      @ohthatstaneisha  4 місяці тому +1

      I usually go about 4-6 weeks! I’m going to be interlocking a little to clean things up a bit.
