Wild, I hope that’s why we haven’t gotten new sets so they’re waiting for the name change. But idk why they would hold back the modular sets if they were ready to go why hold them back?
@@awesomejeeps9856 we’ll see what there is to come. Simon over at the domain posted a new video with some insider information and confined mega isn’t dead
I watched thedomain's video and he seemed really optimistic about MEGA continuing as a separate brand that exists alongside Mattel's new brick brand. What I just don't understand is why would they make a competitor with themselves? Sounds like a fast way to either bankrupt MEGA or waste money on a new line that won't be as popular as MEGA.
Yeah I checked out his video, I’d already posted my video few hours before he dropped his. I also think it is very weird to have two separate brick building type toys.
@@BiomechanicalBrick yeah I saw that, I posted my video about 2 hours before he posted his. I’m going to wait a couple days and see if any additional news comes out before making an addendum to this video.
I'm curious to see how this pans out. At the end of the day I just want new sets and easy access/distribution. It gets old scowering the Internet for a single new set.

It's odd but this is the same company that owns both matchbox and hotwheels

I agree. From what I’ve seen the current speculation is brick shop won’t do licensed sets but that’s only speculation.
