Jiro has an amazing character arc through the plot of finding his son and losing him to the Dentist, then watching Bain kill him. Then he becomes a wandering samurai type in the epilouge. He deserves S tier for that alone. Plus you can feel the emotion and energy in all of his lines. My man Jiro needs more respect.

Rust should've been d. His entire performance was completely and utterly phoned in. Not a single line was good or sounded like anything other then him collecting a paycheck
Red Archer Live *goes through all of the heisters, give some good arguements for all the heisters. Then gets to Sydney.............WE ALL KNOW WHERE THIS IS GOING* No just kidding Red, honestly some really good agruements for the heisters (breathed a sigh of relief when Scarface was put into A tier)
I really do like Ron Pearlman, and Rust is one of my favorites. That said I like Rust for the aesthetics and the biker dlc as a whole. I wish they would get another voice actor, drop pearlman's likeness, and finally update him and become a better character
As a Jimmy main who wears the Almir's beard I hope he's high. Wish there was a way to wear both the beard and the green beanie, then I would keep asking teammates about their jackets.

I kinda agree on most of the List, i'd put Jiro in A tier tho, not only because character is great, but also he have a place in story, the whole Search for kento plot, and Kotaru buisness. He'd be 100 cooler if Jiro had at least some mix-up between Japanise and English, because his fater was an American i belive, not like 60% english to 40% japanise, rather like 20% english 80% japanise, even game Tips say that Jiro improved his english a little while in America, and he had at some point dialogue in english in safehouse, how he "couldn't even order a pizza"
The biggest problem with many other characters is how they don't have updated lines, like Jimmy and so on. It's pain trying to shout over to a clueless newbie playing of the more recently added characters when your character cannot call them by name.
I’m two years late to this but as a Hotline Miami fan… A tier is an incredibly fair and agreeable spot for Jacket. I love the way Jacket was characterized in Payday 2 and I love the tape recorder. But I can entirely see how the constant repeat in his lines can get quite repetitive for some people. So A is entirely fair.
Love ya red, but I gotta go with the tough love angle. Rating characters B because you haven't played them enough feels a little lazy/feels like a cop out. What was stopping you from playing 3 or 4 heists as them or even just looking up a video of their pager lines before making this video?

I played sokol alot he is by far my favorite heister cuz of his funny voicelines and his russian accent too even he hates jacket replay tape, which he says *hey, f*ck you and your cassete one day i will steal it from you while you sleep in bed and i will make you talk like a real person." when you playing as jacket in safe house.
Joy isn't very popular but she is my main. I've gotten so used to her lines that they don't bother me as much. I really do hate her "Bye bye electro" line though. The taser lines for every character and the taser VA himself make me cringe so bad.
Tier lists are opinion base. If people couldn't understand that from the beginning. That's pretty disappointing for people wanting to hate you, for your opinion.
Honestly even though Hilda's portrayal in the game is admittedly bad (honestly very bad) I can greatly respect the attempt and think that it was great that h3h3 had a great time making the pack. No matter my personal opinion on the quality of the crossover I can genuinely recognize the effort put into making it as good as it could be, even though I personally think it was sort of doomed from the start.

I swear something gets lost in "translation", for lack of a better term, in Ron Perlman's performance. Maybe it's that he is more well known but like... personally, i never saw Hellboy and he's the main villain in a lot of Sons of Anarchy, so i don't think I like him for those performances like you say, but I've seen him get ranked low by two non-American payday UA-camrs out of two videos I've watched who both had that sams complaint: his delivery was monotone. But I digress; I say something gets lost in translation because I can clearly hear him enunciating and putting force and dynamic tone behind those lines. It's just that he isn't saying them like he's *panicked* about it, like a lot of the other heisters do, and that makes sense for an outlaw biker in his 60s; if you live to be 60 in that life, you either got locked up for life at a young age and weren't important enough for a prison shanking, were as good as dead and retired, or you survived so many people trying to kill you that you don't stress about it anymore, because by all rights you should have been killed about 15 times by now. Additionally, a big chunk of the founding members of American MCs were war veterans, and you hear that same sort of inflection where they speak loudly but not screaming or panicky, just matter-of-factly calling out targets, and I think that's what is lost in this translation. Compare Rust's lines to the delivery of a military officer in a war film (importantly, not a drill sergeant) and the cadence is similar. I don't know exactly what it is but i listen to Rust a lot since he's consistently on my crew, and i just can't hear the monotone people claim his delivery is.

Yeah, that was my issue too. I made a tier and then basically dragged each mask into that. I hoped my link would fix that but it seems it didn't sorry!

I cannot agree with your placement of Joy. As you said, her "we are gamers" shirt is way too on the nose. I think that necessitates her dropping a tier, and think about it - if her "we are gamers" shirt were removed, would she be A tier? I still don't think so. So that's why I would put her at C tier, and if her shirt design were changed, I would put her at B tier. Currently, she does not belong with Dallas' tier.
Console covers Xbox and PlayStation. There's no difference in content. I can't exactly afford a PS5 right now to make the same amount of videos as I do for Xbox... Which is almost none with how little content there is these days 🤦♂️
