    Such an interesting piece of land in a seemingly peaceful location..would it be possible to add a drone shot of the perimeter of the land and its borders. Thank you Melanie another lovely property.

    That is beautiful land, thank you for the tour, and thank you for showing us the bird, s/he was magnificent!
    They certainly are plenty of stones available for restoring the ruin and all the stone walls. I was wondering about fencing if one wanted to have sheep - could it go all the way down to the stream (with gates to allow passage along the stream)?

      Glad you enjoyed it. Yes you can fence your land for animals, allowing passage also on the dirt track.

    Ola Melanie, again. I love this property, but is it still for sale? or off the market ? Can you give me the location so I can find it on maps ? You say the Riberiro das Trutas is "seasonal"
    but it looks like a year round river ! Because I LOVE to fly fish for trout :)) I am back at my home on Terceira ( Azores) and planning another trip to the mainland next week to look for more property. May I assume that in the office you have a catalogue of properties for me to look through ? I prefer mountain locations, but a stream valley would also be good. Muito obrigado-- Stephen Brown

      Hello there! Can you send us an email: properties@homekeyportugal.com with this request and we send you the location. The property is still available. Depending on the year (drought/rain fall), the river could run all year! Thank you Stephen.

    Hi Melanie, so in these properties are the rivers owned by the city? The government? or privately owned?
    Thanks,

      Normally the rivers are not your property. Often a river or a stream is the border of your land.
      I guess the rivers belong to the country. People can swim in it or fish or whatever.

    Do you need any permission to take water out of the river?

      It is always best to go to the council and ask.

    Is it just rural or does it contain some urban(!) and perhaps some rustic part or is it all just rural 😢 as I understand?😮

      Dates pre 1951 so no probs living in it is my understanding

    • @Daniel_QWERTZ
      @Daniel_QWERTZ 7 місяців тому

      Nope, it's not about pre-1951, it's all about rustic or urban article and if it has a habitation licence or not...

    • @homekeyportugal
      @homekeyportugal  7 місяців тому +1

      It is all rural. However, as it is a total of over 1 hectare, you can see if the council allows to convert it into urban. General law is, that you can renovate what is already there making use of the old stone walls and same footprint.

      @@homekeyportugal Thnxxx 4 your reply Melanie, I’m actually living in Portugal and I m Dutch..😏❣️
      4 what I’ve been told you have urban, rustic or rural land in Portugal, (rural being agricultural) and I know you can always ask the camará to change RUSTIC land to URBAN and that this “dedication” can NEVER be applied to a rural(agricultural) article. So do you mean to say all the land is RUSTIC? I hope you ll answer me again!!
      Bij voorbaat dank! Muite Obrigado! Thnxxx

      Yes, you have two types: urban and rustic. Rustic=agricultural, but you can have an urban part inside the rustic land as well!
