Played a double header yesterday. First game went 0-5 with 3 strikeouts, second game went 3-4 with 2 doubles and a single. Don't know how it happened. 🤷

With me, I have like no fear at the plate. The guy can throw 102 and I wouldnt care. I just suck at timing
When I was in rec I didn’t strike out and only got out 1 or 2 times. But when I started travel all stars my first two games I struck out. Then in the championship (6th game) I got a rbi double to right field
The thing is, my coach tells us to not swing until you get a strike unless you are the catcher or the first 4 people, which I’m not, so I can’t swing at the first pitch
My first baseball game of the season is tomorrow I cant wait and I NEED TO GET BETER

Coach I’m done with home run hacks and I’ve only seen like one mile per hour increase in my exit velo. Home run hacks didn’t help me with my power a lot. I did all the workouts and hit of the tee but I’m striking out the most I’ve ever done, and when I do hit it there are just ground balls and I don’t hit for power.

Nailed it Justin. Very few pitchers at a youth level have more than 3 pitches and if they do their 4 seam and change up better be disgusting otherwise they need to stop messing around with other pitches.
What are some drills I can do for softball to help with my power. I hit really good but I always want to get better. Any tips to improve my hitting even more. I want colleges to start to look at me.

Do you know of any hitting devices that smooth your swing out or any like tips because I keep getting under the ball to hit it in the air
Hit off the tee, check your bat weight, drop an oz or two
Do a 2 tee drill. It’ll adjust you bat path so you stop dumping the barrel prior to contact.

What position do you play.
Rawlings is the brand I use..literally have a glove that is 30 years old. Tried Nike but it fell apart in 3 seasons...the gold glove series about 80-120 are great..currently my 1b mitt outfield mitt and infield mitt are 10 years old. Keep em oiled and have no issues
There is not a “Best” glove. The best glove is the one that feels best on your hand and allows you to do your job.
Basically it’s subjective.

@@baseballbynatedog800 depending on hand size i would go with an 11 1/4" to 12"glove, closed webbing since u pitch. If two can get 2 i would.. one for pitching and one for infield. Rawlings has the R9 series and encore series..if you can spring for the heart of the hide series i would do that..you should be able to find them on sale now.. they were cheaper 10+ years ago. But excellent gloves, oil it often and it will lastt forever.. for infield and pitcher you can use the same glove, get one that allows your hands to be fast..smaller but able to field properly easily...larger..i have big hands so 11.75 -12 works for..xl snow glove size... try it on and become proficient with it...
