- Otto Habsburg was burried in the "Kapuzinergruft" in Vienna on July 16th 2011.
The attending crowd of - more or less - monarchists are singing the anthems of:
a) The Republic of Austria
b) The Anthem of United Europe
c) The old Anthem of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy ("Kaiserhymne")
guess, which anthem the crowd sings full out of theyr heart,,,,,,,,,,,,
Really amazing, the anthem hasn't been used for many years and still the people sing it one more time for Otto Habsburg
Almost as if they prefer it to their current anthem...
@@johngoetzinger1605 I'm Austrian and I know for a fact that me and many of my friends prefer Gott erhalte, Gott beschütze/Gott erhalte Franz den Kaiser over Land der Berge, Land am Strome (I'm not even sure if that's it's official name, that's how little I care about it).
Of all the anthems, the Kaiserhyme was the loudest sung!

@@alexchuan2309 Yes, they should. Unfortunately the heir to the throne doesn't want it, so it's not gonna happen. Not to mention that there's not many monarchists in Austria. Even the biggest monarchist party is unknown to most people.

@@aaronfire359 SGA is the biggest and most organized one as far as I'm aware. They have set goals, a website and are basically the only recognized monarchist party. The most noteable thing about them is that they have the support of one Habsburg, a certain archduke Ulrich von Habsburg-Lothringen. He was a prominent political figure in the past. He abolished the law that banned royals from becoming presidents and he also ran for president himself, but he lost the election.
