I have this rough country lift kit and HATE it. Shakes truck horrific when driving at random roads. Can it be put back to stock height? Previous owner didn’t give me original front shocks.
I looked on Rough Country’s website and they don’t seem to show part numbers so I’m unable to compare. I imagine if you have a diesel or big block might make a difference in coil springs but not positive on that question
an f250 of the same year would be leaf sprung not coil sprung. also uses a different ttb setup (larger diff and axles, just overall more heavy duty) so it wouldn't work
Would have liked to see the process.
My apologies. Didn’t have my ducks in a row that day. Was behind schedule
How did you get the 3 rivets off of the rear? Angle grinder or something else?
Grind the heads off and hit it with an air chisel. They come right out

I’m just curious why the lift kit would cause your vehicle to shake?
Is it just the dash? These obs have these junk plastic things holding it on the side, you can but a metal plate you can install to prevent that
Thank you
Did you or would this truck need an alignment after installing this lift kit ?
An alignment is recommended
What size are the tires you have in this video? I just ordered the 2.5" lift for my 1985 F150 and have 31" tires.
If I remember correctly those were 31’s as well
What size were those wheel spacers. I have a similar rubbing issue
You know it’s been awhile and I don’t remember now
Was a drop pitman arm needed for alignment?
Is this kit for a RWD?
Im wondering if your supoosed to use one block or the other
What's the part number for the kit?
Did you have to lengthen the drive shafts?
Nope. Not even with the 6” BDS lift on Mr Whites 93 Bronco did we have to alter the shafts. Fords are good that way
What are the price for this Lift Set ?
Can I fit 20x12 on 33s with this lift ?
I would ask the “Custom Offsets” channel. They did a Bronco with 12 or 14” wides that turned out really nice
I’m running 18x12s with 33s on a stock front suspension
89 Ford Single Cab 2wd , would this bolt right up? & would I clear 20x10 wheels , on 305 / 55 Rs ?
This is for a 4wheel drive. You would have to contact Rough Country
Fabricated lift blocks are superior to solid cast iron blocks
Really? I have never heard that before
Can you send a link to the lift kit?
www.roughcountry.com/ford-suspension-lift-kit-420c.html
Hopefully that works
Do know If this is applicable for f250 same year.

It looks like there is a dedicated 2.5 inch kit for 4wd. rough country sku 420.20 as opposed to this 2wd kit 42230
@@rolando4812 No kidding? That’s good to know thank you

What size tires are those? 31s?
I believe that’s what they were yes
