The clutch lever is working normally. Engaging all the way out, I use only 2 fingers while my other 2 fingers and thumb are holding on the grip for great dirt riding control. However you can adjust the lever to your liking. Turn the adjustment wheel 1 into the desired position. The adjustment wheel can be turned more easily if you press the clutch lever forward when doing so. Adjustment options: Position 1: smallest distance between handlebar grip and clutch lever Position 4: largest distance between handlebar grip and clutch lever
@@RideAboutNow yep thanks did check it out. Awesome. I’m adding it to my helmet for capturing any crazy driver here in AZ. Of course I had a crazy Elk a few months ago. 😳😳
I don't like the clutch action either. There's an adjustment wheel for it, and I have it set to engage a little sooner for the travel of the clutch grip, but it's nowhere near enough for me or what I have been used to. I suppose I'll get used to it.
Hahahaha......the clutch is not gone, that is the friction zone, at the end. You can adjust the lever and its not as far. I have the 23 GS Trophy, it took me a little to get use to it. Yes, wheelie easy in 2nd in both road & dynamic!! Fun fun fun!!
I ride the R1200RT with the same boxer engine with a low center of gravity. I’ve ridden a number of Harley and my last five bikes were BMW’s and I would never go back.
@@RideAboutNow I’ve ridden with Willie G Davidson, Peter Fonda , Jay Leno on a number of rides. Each bike has its own character….,I love Harley’s and the people that ride them, but BMW have the technology and the safety. I’m not a spring chicken anymore 👍👍
I think people would be surprised. I started on a sport bike back in the day. Since then I’ve owned two Harley tourers and 2018 Gold wing. I switched to one of these a year ago and I don’t think I will ever buy another touring bike. I have more power, more storage, more tech, more capability, and the list goes on. The only con compared to a touring bike is my wife was getting more wind in her seat. So I switch wind screens and that was fixed. I won’t say that touring bikes are going to the way of the dodo yet, but every year it’s harder to argue that these bikes are taking over. Just the ability to have more storage than any touring bike there is, and then being able to go faster than super sports is just not fair.

Nice. That is good to know. I thought it couldn’t be this bad. Thanks for that update.
I enjoyed your video. I have been the proud owner of an R1250 GS for a week now, what a great motorcycle
Nice!! Congrats.
I have the 2023 GSA and coming from a road glide special, you can’t beat the GS.
Its definitely a great motorcycle but I cant compare the 2 either. I like both.
Like the go pro set up on helmet. Do you mind providing some info in the set up you have. I ride a BMW R1200RT, but seriously considering a GS cheers
I have a video on it check it out.

LoL, I was like what is this but makes sense that it would have a lever adjustment. Fun bike for sure. I enjoyed the ride.
Where do your brothers get money 😢😢😢any advice please ..
If you find out let me know as well LoL I need some.
Looking at this bike also… amazing bike. I’ve had Harley, Busa, but hopefully this will be the next one.
Definitely a world popular bike. New 1300 GS should be coming out soon as well.

Agree with 100% about the GS. You should get one. 😀
It's such a good bike to ride. I was impressed.
@@RideAboutNow sounds like you'll have one in your garage soon. Cheers.
Get one. I am proud owner of it and waiting for riding season to begin.
@@mrameykhare likewise. I have a brand new one in my garage but been too ill to take it out.
What Helmet is that you are wearing?
Sedici sistema 2
Clutch is adjustable for your requirement.
That’s good to know there is some adjustability there.
The GS is nice but the Harley is better for touring in my opinion.
I think both are comfy but the Harley obviously is a sofa on wheels. LoL
