Now mix the syrup and bread. And cool it down. Enjoy

i just made it and it’s tastes really good! definitely like caramel popcorn. i also have some tips for some of you guys who want to try it. 1. be patient when frying the bread, i kept stirring it around and was impatient. i also took it out a little early so it wasn’t as crunchy as i wanted it to be. if you want to save some time, just pop 2 slices in the toaster and it should be around the same. 2. when making the caramel sauce, melt the sugar all the way. i noticed even when my sauce looked like the one in the video, there was still sugar and when i mixed in the bread, there seemed to be some large pieces of sugar that didn’t melt. edit: okay so i made them a second time today but instead of frying the bread, i popped them in the toaster, up but when making the caramel, i realized the pan wasn’t hot enough so it’s probably best if you fry the bread instead of putting them in the toaster anyways, hope you found this helpful and good luck!

Amin Mecci multi grain isnt that much healthier, try whole wheat instead if you want a healthy option. it might give it a different flavour tho, i think white bread is ur best bet

@@sophialorenz8879 you don't have to follow the exact measurements, just put in the ingredients as how you see fit and make sure it is not too syrupy or too dry. You can put more, or less sugar/water according to what the recipe says and your personal preference/how much you're making
If you've never made caramel your inclination is to stir, but if you do stir you'll ruin it so you have to stop yourself from stirring that one time. I know, it's really hard. Everytime I make caramel I have to almost tie my hands behind my back. LOL
You only can stirr it only if it's pure sugar caramel, without water, on the contrary, if you do that, your caramel will crystallizing and it be ruined

Did you use teaspoons, tablespoons or just a random big spoon?
@@sophialorenz8879 you don't have to follow the exact measurements, just put in the ingredients as how you see fit and make sure it is not too syrupy or too dry. You can put more, or less sugar/water according to what the recipe says and your personal preference/how much you're making

If you've never made caramel your inclination is to stir, but if you do stir you'll ruin it so you have to stop yourself from stirring that one time. I know, it's really hard. Everytime I make caramel I have to almost tie my hands behind my back. LOL
You only can stirr it only if it's pure sugar caramel, without water, on the contrary, if you do that, your caramel will crystallizing and it be ruined
