Let me explain something. From what little information is shown, oni is no longer akuma. Oni is the satsui no hado. In Japanese lore, an oni is a demon that brings chaos. Seems accurate to the oni in street fighter. Shin akuma is akuma with the full power of the dark hado but without losing himself in the power of the dark hado. Shin akuma is akuma’s goal but oni is his destiny.
I got few above oni names Monstrosity Akuma, Monster Akuma? Berserk Akuma, Savage Akuma (YES!) Warrior Akuma, Damned Akuma, Destruction Akuma, God Akuma? Rage Akuma so many names Akuma can take as a mega super saiyan lol.
Oni is canon, hes SF4. Asura's Wrath tho is Non-Canon...... so yeah sorry guys who vote for Akuma in VS battles and such, he cannot kill or go toe to toe with gods...
it actually goes Akuma > Shin Akuma > Oni Akuma usually holds back to test his opponents. Shin Akuma isn't holding back. Oni is where the SnH fully consumes him and rips away his humanity.
Kryptonian Ascendancy "The Street Fighter Wiki states that 'Essentially, Shin Akuma is Akuma using the fullest extent of his power. However, he is more competitive in battle and less merciful when he is fighting a strong warrior. He will only fight at his true potential when he has found an equal to do battle with.' This is essentially what I said in my original comment, Shin Akuma is Akuma not holding back against his opponents, as he has deemed them worthy opponents. Shin Akuma from Capcom vs SNK is non-canon, where Rugal forced the Orochi into Akuma after being defeated by him. In Japan, this version of Akuma is actually separated from the canon Shin Akuma by being referred to as God Akuma.
I got few above oni names Monstrosity Akuma, Monster Akuma? Berserk Akuma, Savage Akuma (YES!) Warrior Akuma, Damned Akuma, Destruction Akuma, God Akuma? Rage Akuma so many names Akuma can take as a mega super saiyan lol.
Yes, watch the Akuma legacy on UA-cam and you'll see how many games he's actually in. He's basically the most marketed character in the series and he isn't even the protagonist.
Shin Akuma is not a different version of Akuma. He is Akuma using his full potential which, as you mentioned in the other video, he does not use because there weren't anyone who is worthy enough.
Actually Shin Gouki IS canon, according to the Japanese canon (the USA canon is different, making up all the "Akuma" demon thing) Gouki normally holds back because he doesn't needs to use his full strength, however when he finds a worthy opponent, he goes all out, this is reflected in Super Street Fighter II Turbo (his first appearance) and Street Fighter Alpha 2, where you are challenged by Shin Gouki after getting to the end without losing any round and with 3 Perfect victories. Oni is a "What if" Gouki takes his desire for being the strongest even further, in japanese culture, when humans are overwhelmed by negative emotions, they become yokai, the Oni is one of them.
Satsu-No-Joe Also in Street Fighter ZERO2, you need five Super or Original/Custom Combo Finishes. (Three of which were also the prerequisite for facing your character's mid-boss)
Oni will likely be canon IMO. Shin Akuma seems like a gradual evolution into Oni, as in his next "phase" would be Shin...giving him mastery over the satsui no hado. And after a while he becomes one with it, ultimately becoming Oni. I like that idea, because it would take Ryu becoming supreme master of the mu hado to beat him. But that would be on some end of the franchise shit. I don't see that battle happening until the final Street Fighter game.
Great video! I love this series. I love fighting games but am not a tournament player. I love the stories and characters as much as watching them duke it out. I've subbed and clicked that bell 😊
I grew up in arcades in the 80's and 90's. To this day Street Fighter is a massive part of my life. You can imagine my friends and I reaction to Akuma in Super Turbo back in the day. He's always been top tier to me as far as any characters are concerned.
Shin akuma is akuma becoming one with the satsui no hado while still keeping control of himself. It’s akuma fully mastering the satsui no hado while oni is akuma comepletely consumed by the hado and has no shred of humanity left
I think shin Akuma will be a V trigger for normal akuma and oni will be a secret character which you have to complete story mode with all perfect in the fights
In the SF Ryu Final Manga by Masahiko Nakihara and the latest light novel drawn by One Punch Man artist Yuskuke Murata suggests Shin Akuma. "His true form a blaze of fire like hell" pretty much his power cannot be contained, like in the manga he gives Ryu a free shot to his chest via one hand hadouken and reveals his body is hallow and gets swallowed by the flame while Ryu injured with a hole in his chest.
Shin Akuma now seems to be coming to SFV so maybe that will be the cannon line. On a side note, Gen has fought Akuma on equal termas and if we consider the Udon comics then Gill too has the power to engage him on full power, since he basically removed the power from Oni-Akuma returning him to normal.
They should really add Oni to the roster of SFV some day, even like SFIV with Akuma and Oni existing. If they give him the right movesets, health levels, damage out-put, all that jazz that keeps the fighters balanced...if Oni was a viable option but one that you have to perform with high proficiency because of it being of glass cannon nature (heavy hitter, but takes damage like a bitch). Oni would rock. As the video even said, he has some interesting stuff. On command double bullets besides the electric one. A shorter range but powerful on contact shoryuken. The raging demon in mid air (is amazing when it works). Proper balance and creativity could really make Oni a viable option and an awesome one.
Hey History Behind The Warrior, Awesome Job of the Part 2 of Akuma, How bout you do the part 2 in Cammy, M. Bison, Guile, Juri and Vega on your videos since Shadow's Fall came!
If I remember correctly, I recall reading that oni is what would happen should Akuma be consumed by the satsui no hadou. As I understand it, The satsui no hadou is a power that is tapped into, but must be controlled. It's what makes Akuma so badass. Shin Akuma is Akuma going full power but maintaining his sense of self, where as Oni is Akuma at full power but completely consumed, and no longer himself.
I think they should put Oni back in the street fighter stories because he is like the perfect form of akuma, plus they even made ryu turn evil again which is cool
I think if Sf is gonna make shin akuma and ONI canon in games while u selecting these players are ur players , u get a warning on screen something like "Shin Akuma and Oni are being nerfed to balance all players game ". It will be so good to make them extremely powerful beings in Sf universe.
i believe that they could both oni and shin akuma. with shin akuma being the precursor to oni in a "false sayian" type of progression. or vice versa in a bleach fashion where the monster comes before the ability to control it, where shin akuma being the final controlled form of oni.
The story about cyber Akuma is when Akuma beat apocalypse and then while he was walking away apocalypse shot a Canon of cybernetic energy and it hit Akuma trying to take over his body but Akuma took it off before it reached his brain and he took over the cybernetic energy and killed Apocalypse
they should do shin akuma and when ryu gets stronger he can transform into oni and "saying that at last there's a worthy fighter for him to reveal his true form"
There's a manga on Street Fighter 3 that takes place after SF 5. Ryu learns a new technique to finally defeat Akuma's raging demon and also defeats ken. On the end of the manga even if Alex defeats Gill which Ken was able to do. He loses to Ken afterward and is told to look for Ryu.
I see Shin Akuma as him still largely being Akuma, just with his full power unleashed while maintaining his personality. However, Oni is the form that is achieved when he gives up all semblance of his honorable self, because he does indeed have one, for the power. There is also, I believe, a Shin Oni that is achieved when he gives up everything 100%, but I personally find this form... annoying? It just keeps bringing up the question of how much of himself exists in the first place to give up? Why can Shin Oni not just be Akuma whose already given all semblance of his original identity up but also acquired a power upgrade? But anyway, yes. I find Oni to be far superior to Shin Akuma both from a power demonstration stand-point, logical stand-point, and design stand-point. But as for what I think the officially top form should be if I had to choose one or where I think they should go with it...? Well thats difficult for me because I like them both and I see them as both having equally important places in the process of both his power acquisition and its corruption. But in the end, it doesn't matter which they choose as long as they form a good story surrounding it. I'm personally a fan of the interpretation that there is a kind of understanding Akuma has about himself and the power he possesses. What it does to him and all those that take it on. I read a Street Fighter manga that I might've misinterpreted, but I saw it as showing that Akuma, or Gouki really, kind of sacrificed himself to take on the Satsui No Hado energy so that he could find someone who could defeat him with it and end a cycle that it perpetuated. Again, this might've been a misinterpretation, but the story seemed to strongly show that Akuma, while a villain, wasn't 100% evil. Of course, I don't interpret him as being evil at all. Bad, yes, but more just someone that harkens to a philosophy of fighting and competition that was once commonplace. Sorry that I'm going off on a rant of sorts, but I always felt the thought would be interesting that during the age when his fighting style was more commonly practiced and used, that it might account for the legends of Oni in Japanese lore. In other words, a whole series of stories could be created about how creatures like Oni were real, except they were just mutated human beings that practiced combat forms that placed emphasis on Satsui No Hado for their wars. As such, for a time where self restraint was almost entirely discouraged as it could be seen as a form of weakness, there might've been hundreds of Akuma's, Shin Akuma's, and Oni's! So aside from having the potential to expand the lore into Japanese mythology, you could almost craft Gouki as a kind of Revolver Ocelot sort of character that found a way to break the cycle, or the power in some way, of the Satsui No Hado for all, but had to take it all into himself. So he seeks worthy opponents such as Ryu to defeat him appropriately not to corrupt them, but to fulfill this goal! It is the kind of character that basically plays the villain and does evil things not entirely because he thinks its truly, morally correct, but because he sees it as necessary to achieve the greater good with something. I know its a bit of a stretch but a problem that I have with the current story with Akuma is... where is his story going to go as long as it keeps going as it is? I know some could argue it should never end given his popularity and such, but there's just a lot about him we both haven't seen, and a lot that shows his personality isn't geared towards simple evil and destruction. He doesn't fight those he doesn't feel are worthy unless attacked first (minus a weakened Bison), so he doesn't go out of his way to be domineering and mean to others the way most other villains, like Bison, do. So he's clearly not a mindless psychopath or sadist outside of combat. I think Akuma needs more purpose behind what he does. Even his training could use more direction, really. There's nothing wrong with giving a more solid reason behind why he wants to become stronger. Even Ryu, for the longest time, only wanted to become stronger because it was both the only life he knew and he wanted to defeat the Satsui No Hado in himself. So whats Akuma's motivation? He beat his brother, seemingly killed him even to take, in his mind, the top place as the master of his art form. So he wants now to find worthy opponents... why? It doesn't even seem to be about testing his own power because he seems more interested in having someone match or surpass his own. But why? He should be more than old, and dare I say wise enough, to be introspective to his purpose and surely it can't just go so far as fighting for the sake of it. I think if that were to be how it'd end it'd be a disservice to the character. I think that Shin Akuma and Oni should be presented within the story, but they should both serve greater purposes. And I wouldn't mind adding some kind of anti-hero aspect to him if at all possible as I feel that manga kind of did.
I'm VERY glad you liked it. I've heard they're not the best at listening to fans and outside ideas, but if they did I might just send them things like this. I have what I think is a really good series of ideas to put seriously new life into the MegaMan X series as well. Now that would be a real passion project of mine... :)
I think this is the evolution of akuma: basuc akuma, shin akuma, oni. We have curently basic akuma, later when akuma absorbs the thingy he becomes shin akuma and after that when he gives up any shred of humanity he had,he turns into Oni. I belive thats how it goes
Shin Gouki is only a version that isn't holding back. So nothing really changes between his normal and Shin counterpart outside of "taking off the kid gloves". Oni is the next stage in his evolution.
At least asking the SF wiki, and I'm guessing you've already gotten this before, Shin Akuma canonically happened one time in SF3, when you beat him as a boss and he transforms for another round. By that logic, the white haired deal is apparently the real one.
is it possible that kazumi gave akuma some of blood giving him a form of the devil gene that made him more stable and ultimately more capable of gaining the power in which he has now
I've got a question: Does the symbol on Akumas back mean "Heaven" and nothing else? Because I read somewhere, that it also has other meanings. Shin Akuma or Oni? Personally I like Shin Akuma more than Oni. Mostly because I've herad, that Shin Akuma is a form of Akuma that gained full control over the Satsui no Hado, where Oni is the opposite form of Akuma of beeing fully controlled BY the Satsui no Hado, meaning, that he is not himself anymore but the spirit-like thing that makes him strong.
Shin Akuma = original SF2 Akuma, before Alpha where he was nerfed into a normal selectable character. Also nothing about SFV? And doesn't Akuma being in Tekken 7 confirm Street Fighter x Tekken? What about the more advanced techniques he learns during SFIV and III? You didn't cover much at all about this guy.
I grew up with Shin Akuma, so naturally I prefer him rather than how most prefer the modern Oni. Shin Akuma was the perfect combination of speed and strength. Oni just never amazed me like Shin Akuma. Though I wouldn't object if he was Akuma's final form.
it's interesting to note that Akuma's SF5 moves are very similar to Oni's . Almost as if he were on the path to realize his demonic form - an eventuality as Rose forecasted (and as Ono clarified).
Well O see it like this.... Shin Akuma stays on the SNK crossover Oni On SF4 Cyber Akuma on Mavel Crossover Also known that Shin Akuma has been in more games a so on in the the story of SF3 since SF3 is what u can say the final time line in the SF Univeres since Shin Akuma can be Fight in SF3 Second Impact.
A question! maybe u told it in the video but I didn't realize it. What is the logic behind the TEN (Japanese) mark on his kanji?? I know it means Sky or Heaven but why??
Officially goki doesn’t view himself as a demon, the term is asura is a Buddhist god that serves the Buddha by ruling over the demons, hence they are call the demon gods, goki seeks to ascend humanity and became one of those gods, hence the word he carry on his back is the kanji Ten, meaning heaven
There is other forms...God Akuma , Rare Akuma and another Akuma that has the disapearing moves like a sayain Rare Akuma is ridiculous strong! His attacks are insane! I don't know much about the others! Where did they came from?
Akuma was in debt to kazumi due to his lost to jinpanchi mishima whom took over for his friend "the old bold guy" whom was putting up a good fight in the start and then started losing near the end in a fight to the death, akuma was shocked as he was no match for jinpachi especially after he wasted alot of stamina earlier on, both jinpachi and akuma were I'm full power leading to akuma being severely damaged and jinpachi exhausted from fighting and had passed out and got taken back to the dojo where heihachi would look after him, and off it was his friend who took him and heihachi left wondering whom his fathers opponent was and how powerful he was but akuma on the other hand was on the verge of dying from his encounter with jinpachi, it was then that kazumis father whose name I'm yet to find out ordered kazumi to go over and help akuma and lend him a hand becoz the enemy of my enemy is my friend kazumis father quoted as he was observing their fight the whole time as the two families have been rivals for quite some time, akuma owed his life to kazumi and vowed his life to her and everything was going according to plan but the final step was to send his daughter to the dojo to eliminate the person that would get in their way in future heihachi mishima, now that heihachi has died the only living person that could carry on their bloodline was Lars Alexanderson as jin and kazuya have both kazumi n heihachis blood in them the cursed bloodlines but Lars only has heihachis and someones??? Blood Blood=D. N. A Now we all know that kazumi ordered Akuma to kill both her lover and her child hoping that her bloodline would no longer be if they both died but Akuma is so loyal to himself that he waits for his opponents heihachi and kazuya to grow stronger in their rivalry just so he could one day accept them as being worthy of his full but he does not know that jin kazama is out for him as well after knowing this he finds out that he is also carry's kazumis blood as her grandchild he tries to kill jin as well for he had let his ego get in the way of killing kazuya and heihachi when they we're no match for him due to kazuya being a child and heihachi yet to discover his true power and overthrowing his old man janpanchi........
Kyle Howarth Yeah that was strange probs was that regal could not control akumas power so it consumed him creating that new character. I think maybe God Oni or akuma or something.
Congratulations! Your Shin Akuma evolved into Oni! :D :D :D
Wild Ryu has appeared!
Shin Akuma is the full power Akuma but Oni is the Super Saiyan version of Akuma and Cyber Akuma is the altered version of Akuma
Robin Williams ohh interesting!

Shin akuma is akuma’s goal but oni is his destiny.
I agree. I was just seeing a folklore of Japanese tales of ONi. I see why in his prologue, he says " I am Evil Incarnate".."
In power progression and progression in general it goes Akuma -> Shin Akuma -> Oni.
Well said👍👍

if oni becomes canon oro will have to start using both hands again.....
Shin Oni that'll be over the top Love it
I got few above oni names Monstrosity Akuma, Monster Akuma? Berserk Akuma, Savage Akuma (YES!) Warrior Akuma, Damned Akuma, Destruction Akuma, God Akuma? Rage Akuma so many names Akuma can take as a mega super saiyan lol.
Lovely Timing Savage Rage Oni
Oni is canon, hes SF4. Asura's Wrath tho is Non-Canon...... so yeah sorry guys who vote for Akuma in VS battles and such, he cannot kill or go toe to toe with gods...
Archaon The Everchosen apparently oni isn't cannon and he can go toe to toe with a god
it actually goes Akuma > Shin Akuma > Oni
Akuma usually holds back to test his opponents. Shin Akuma isn't holding back. Oni is where the SnH fully consumes him and rips away his humanity.
Kryptonian Ascendancy
"The Street Fighter Wiki states that 'Essentially, Shin Akuma is Akuma using the fullest extent of his power. In Japan, this version of Akuma is actually separated from the canon Shin Akuma by being referred to as God Akuma.
Also Yoshinori Ono himself said that Oni is a being conceived as 'beyond Shin Akuma' .
I got few above oni names Monstrosity Akuma, Monster Akuma? Berserk Akuma, Savage Akuma (YES!) Warrior Akuma, Damned Akuma, Destruction Akuma, God Akuma? Rage Akuma so many names Akuma can take as a mega super saiyan lol.
Oni is Akuma super saiyan
I literally quoted it
Ok so Akuma basically has the power to cross over into other games non canical and without any explanation at all. Ok 😂
Yes, watch the Akuma legacy on UA-cam and you'll see how many games he's actually in. He's basically the most marketed character in the series and he isn't even the protagonist.
Christian Escobedo explain your thoughts
Christian Escobedo if he was a Db
Then he would be stronger than at this point
he is akuma for more than just the name perk.... :p
No most of the cross over games can happen because Street Fighter and King Of Fighters could become real
Shin Akuma is not a different version of Akuma. He is Akuma using his full potential which, as you mentioned in the other video, he does not use because there weren't anyone who is worthy enough.
I thought the form changes were like this :
Akuma (base) ----> Shin Akuma (full power) ----> Kuruoshiki Oni (Satsui no hadou unleashed)
Oni hands down he looks so awesome i mained him in sf4 and the story of him giving to the satsui no hado fully..
Glad I found this channel a while back. I definitely learned some stuff I never knew about
Oni will likely be canon IMO.
James Hays Totally agree
Kind of like super Saiyan forms in a sense?
Shin oni next maybe.
Great video, made even better by the Periphery song at the end. Nice touch.
Great video! I love this series. I love fighting games but am not a tournament player. I love the stories and characters as much as watching them duke it out. I've subbed and clicked that bell 😊
can you do History Behind the Warrior: Bill Cosby?
Hooch Pandersnatch lmao
Bill Cosby??? lmmfaooooooooo!!!!!
The only man to master the Hado no Jello Puddin'....
The most powerful man ever lived! I must train
His only move is sleeping pill
Oni and Shin Akuma will be cannon
what is cannon?
means in the main story, not a different alternate story.
Lol i thought new character coming.. thanks dear :-) have a great day
isin't extra mission In Tekken 7 where you fight Shin Akuma vs Devil Kazuya is now considered cannon (atleast in Tekken universe)
I think that Shin Akuma will the first canonized, but after some time he will turn in Oni
Alin George probably
Oh Man... Thank You H.B.T.W.
I just learned about Akuma's Super Saiyan Transformation and was like
"Whoa...😶😯
Wait . . . Wha 😕😨
HOW??? 😱😵"
I grew up in arcades in the 80's and 90's. To this day Street Fighter is a massive part of my life. You can imagine my friends and I reaction to Akuma in Super Turbo back in the day. He's always been top tier to me as far as any characters are concerned.
i remember when max played that akuma dlc 🔥

This is a range of Akuma's forms from weakest to strongest by popular vote.
It goes: Akuma, Cyber Akuma, Shin Akuma, then Oni.
I think it's going to be Oni
I hope it's Oni.
Rose winning against Oni
"You weren't supposed to come this early"
"This Early"
They wouldn't put that in for no reason.
I feel like shin akuma is the akuma not holding back and then oni being shin akuma giving away all humanity
They should really add Oni to the roster of SFV some day, even like SFIV with Akuma and Oni existing. This was awesome... Yet will you do Killer Instinct?
Part 3 in this series is just the Thundercats opening on a loop.
I think they should put Oni back in the street fighter stories because he is like the perfect form of akuma, plus they even made ryu turn evil again which is cool
MAN I LOVE THE PERIPHERY OUTRO!!!
videos are amazing and I hit that sub button as soon as I heard Marigold by Periphery!
I think if Sf is gonna make shin akuma and ONI canon in games while u selecting these players are ur players , u get a warning on screen something like "Shin Akuma and Oni are being nerfed to balance all players game ". It will be so good to make them extremely powerful beings in Sf universe.
Nice Marigold at the end there.
i believe that they could both oni and shin akuma. with shin akuma being the precursor to oni in a "false sayian" type of progression. or vice versa in a bleach fashion where the monster comes before the ability to control it, where shin akuma being the final controlled form of oni.

I would like to see more History Behind The King of Fighter Characters :)
1:50 "Another form that contend with the oni form"(next level of oni) is shin oni
And it goes from Akuma > shin akuma > oni > shin oni.
What's the song you use at the end of your videos?
Oni and shin akuma should become cannon. Also shin akuma should come before oni to make it have more sense
Ricardo Montoya shin akuma is canon.
Can You Do Ibuki Next Please I Want To See Her History So Much
they should do shin akuma and when ryu gets stronger he can transform into oni and "saying that at last there's a worthy fighter for him to reveal his true form"
With how the Tekken 7 lore has played out with Akuma I think Jin is the “ultimate” foe for him
I think oro is. Oro was even with base akuma, but oro too was holding back. He wasn't using his right arm.
My guess is that, if they were to make a Street Fighter game that chronologically takes place after 3rd Strike, Oni will finally appear in the story.
Props for periphery at the end!
Satsu no hado is a corruption from the evil side of of ryu s style of fighting shin akum is another story
you should do steve fox from tekken next!

And I wouldn't mind adding some kind of anti-hero aspect to him if at all possible as I feel that manga kind of did.
i loved reading this comment, very well thought out indeed, you should definitely give capcom a shout, they should takes some notes from you.
I'm VERY glad you liked it. I've heard they're not the best at listening to fans and outside ideas, but if they did I might just send them things like this. I have what I think is a really good series of ideas to put seriously new life into the MegaMan X series as well. Now that would be a real passion project of mine... :)
wow, shin akuma... its over 9000!
You went ALL in here! Salute to you for the understanding of the character & what he truly represents.
I think this is the evolution of akuma: basuc akuma, shin akuma, oni.
We have curently basic akuma, later when akuma absorbs the thingy he becomes shin akuma and after that when he gives up any shred of humanity he had,he turns into Oni. I belive thats how it goes
“The wave of killing intent” hado is the wave, meaning the wave of chi that everyone supposedly has, and hado is making use of it,
Shin Gouki is only a version that isn't holding back. So nothing really changes between his normal and Shin counterpart outside of "taking off the kid gloves".
Oni is the next stage in his evolution.
FUCK YEAH WITHE PERIPHERY TRACK! Get in. Awesome video.
evil ryu also fought asura in a pretty sick fight and as far as who id rather see canonized, i gotta go with oni
Kentucky Fried Nazis really? is there proof? cause that woud be awesome
Kentucky Fried Nazis could u link me where u found it
Kentucky Fried Nazis i did and nothing came up
its not canon
Kentucky Fried Nazis the dlc , idk what you made up
Oni, from what I read, is what is going to happen to him.
What happened to the Tekken Akuma teased in part 1???
Hope you do Part 3 about Akuma when Tekken 7 will be released next year!
Yo when are you going to do Virtua Fighter?
At least asking the SF wiki, and I'm guessing you've already gotten this before, Shin Akuma canonically happened one time in SF3, when you beat him as a boss and he transforms for another round. By that logic, the white haired deal is apparently the real one.
is it possible that kazumi gave akuma some of blood giving him a form of the devil gene that made him more stable and ultimately more capable of gaining the power in which he has now
no the tekken version of akuma isn't connected to the sf version
*Saitama wants to know your location*
I've got a question: Does the symbol on Akumas back mean "Heaven" and nothing else? Because I read somewhere, that it also has other meanings.
Shin Akuma or Oni? Personally I like Shin Akuma more than Oni. Mostly because I've herad, that Shin Akuma is a form of Akuma that gained full control over the Satsui no Hado, where Oni is the opposite form of Akuma of beeing fully controlled BY the Satsui no Hado, meaning, that he is not himself anymore but the spirit-like thing that makes him strong.
would be cool if he had his darkpuple red aura and white blue hair and a purple outfit,if he is gonna go the demon road then make it good.
Oni would be the more likely to be Cannonized, as he is referenced in Street Fighter Assassin's fist by Gotetsu.
I always figured that Shin-Akuma was just akuma with the hado as one. And Oni was the actual hado who possessed Akuma. Kinda like Evil-Ryu and Kage.
You didn't cover much at all about this guy.
herugrim666 street fighter and tekken share a universe however sfxtekken is not canon story wise at least
L.B.N.K tekken and street fighter don't share universe, that was a separate akuma, it turn out tekken has it's own shin akuma
herugrim666 NO, harada said that akuma isn't from street fighter, he separate from the one in street fighter
I grew up with Shin Akuma, so naturally I prefer him rather than how most prefer the modern Oni. Shin Akuma was the perfect combination of speed and strength. Oni just never amazed me like Shin Akuma. Though I wouldn't object if he was Akuma's final form.
Akuma is the one Street Fighter character with the most forms
I need to order all these movies.
He actually mentioned asuras wrath nice
it's interesting to note that Akuma's SF5 moves are very similar to Oni's . Almost as if he were on the path to realize his demonic form - an eventuality as Rose forecasted (and as Ono clarified).
How did Elena become Akuma's student
whats the music in the intro and the end
Chris Eddy the ending is periphery - marigold.. the intro i want but i dont know its title lol
lol. thanks man
I say both...Shin and Oni
nice loved this video
I still prefer akuma to oni even though they’re the same person
Never mind you did do a update. Your the best lol
My question is SFV is a prequel to what SF?? And after what SF??
You'd think Akuma would just disregard his cybernetic enhancements and just fight normally
Well O see it like this....
Shin Akuma stays on the SNK crossover
Oni On SF4
Cyber Akuma on Mavel Crossover
Also known that Shin Akuma has been in more games a so on in the the story of SF3 since SF3 is what u can say the final time line in the SF Univeres since Shin Akuma can be Fight in SF3 Second Impact.
Have you thought about Killer Instinct characters
Asura's Wrath is awesome!
Oni akuma reminds me of brolly , they both have the concept of evolving in power if their opponent is strong enough
I'd go with Shin Akuma.
A question! maybe u told it in the video but I didn't realize it. What is the logic behind the TEN (Japanese) mark on his kanji?? I know it means Sky or Heaven but why??
The opening music is awesome! Who is it?
Did you see his design on capcom fighters network? Cause imo it's his best design.
Shin Akuma is kinda like the true form but you said he’s one with the dark form. Oni is the same however he lost all of his humanity
You should do Jack!
Based on the sf5 art floating around? Shin akuma
will you making the history of Rashid?
Kage is now the most strongest character in Street Fighter lore.
Officially goki doesn’t view himself as a demon, the term is asura is a Buddhist god that serves the Buddha by ruling over the demons, hence they are call the demon gods, goki seeks to ascend humanity and became one of those gods, hence the word he carry on his back is the kanji Ten, meaning heaven
can you do a history of Mr Karate and Serious Karate his alter Ego??
Blood
Blood=D. N. A
Now we all know that kazumi ordered Akuma to kill both her lover and her child hoping that her bloodline would no longer be if they both died but Akuma is so loyal to himself that he waits for his opponents heihachi and kazuya to grow stronger in their rivalry just so he could one day accept them as being worthy of his full but he does not know that jin kazama is out for him as well after knowing this he finds out that he is also carry's kazumis blood as her grandchild he tries to kill jin as well for he had let his ego get in the way of killing kazuya and heihachi when they we're no match for him due to kazuya being a child and heihachi yet to discover his true power and overthrowing his old man janpanchi........
Shin akuma but what about the extra shin akuma in capcom vs snk 2 when u defeart evil regal and some next akuma appears with a name unknown?
Kyle Howarth Yeah that was strange probs was that regal could not control akumas power so it consumed him creating that new character. I think maybe God Oni or akuma or something.
