Love this talk think differently after Sheikh said: "the harder the struggle, the closer the ease is" so cant give up or panic InshaAllah ameen.
This talk brought tears to my eyes. I was raised in a neglectful, mentally ill, and violent environment. I have no good memories from childhood and, now I understand that I really have no one, but Allah.

I have a question, may be someone knowledgeable can answer me. Can I be close to Allah without being close to my parents? My parents are absolutely amazing and mean the best for me, however the way they are doing a few things is causing me real mental pain and trauma and even having a normal conversation with them is turning into a pain. But in the same time I don't want to choose the path to Jahannum. I pray for my parents and also pray to be forgiven on a daily basis but it's just so difficult to even talk with them now. What do I do?
You can minimize contact with your parents to what is necessary but remain respectful to preserve your mental health. As for your relationship with Allah swt, make sure you keep up with your prayers and Quran and ibaadah and as long as u make sure to uphold the rights of your parents and you will be fine InshAllah.

Pls avoid invoking Allaah with ALLAAHUMMA.... that's a core reason why we are disconnected and our duaas go unattended!

Why
Invoking Allah with ‘Allahumma’ is perfectly fine. It is mentioned in various places in the Quran in the form of du’a and is some verses Allah says ‘say Allahumma…’. 2 examples are in Surat Yunus verse 10 ‘their supplication in it (Paradise) will be Glory be to You, Allahumma..’ and Surat al-Imran verse 28, ‘say, ‘Allahumma Malikal-mulki You give authority to whom ever you Will…’
Perhaps you are referring to when we say ‘ameen’ at the end of a du’a as some people say ‘Allahumma Ameen’, ‘allahumma Ameen’, the meaning and language is still perfectly correct, which means ‘O Allah, accept’.
While you consider 10:10 and 10:09 aht those in Jennah calling on Allah. I would also wish if you would explain Ayaath 19:54 with 19:55 that explains about one person as a Rassool and Nabi called Ismael in the Holy Quran
@@fahimlafir269 brother, I have given you enough evidence from the primary source the Quran. There is much more. And in the sunnah as well such as the Istikhara Du’a which the prophet pbuh mentions specifically saying ‘Allahumma’ in it and many others. I do not like to debate fruitlessly.
