    100% and well said Craig. Perusal passion filled Hanesworth perspectives. Only positive as I see it. Can’t wait to see the R1300 GSA offering a slightly bigger footprint. I prefer that. With the current configured offering being the slightly narrower/smaller GS, it looks nicely updated/refreshed. Wished they could have added the long awaited and needed handlebar back-lighting. And while they are at it, think about the customers that for the majority will tarmac slay these bikes as their primary function of use. So add the BMW super horn from their other Touring models, RT, GTL, GA and K1600 B line up. At least offer these Ala-Carte as part of the Option 719 tarmac specific Touring package. As would be an extra set of auxiliary high lumen driving lights. The dealerships would love the extra revenue too. The bikes are different in all ways, aesthetics, handling and comfort. BMW is a premium branded BMW product. Even spartan luxury can comes with optional features. Nice job Craig.

      Great points that I forgot to add! Yes. They need to make the controls backlit and a better horn. I love the R1250 but I can't fault them for the new R1300. Thanks for watching

    I tested a 1300 triple black te on sat i am not impressed its too small it feels like the xr the bars are too close the dash is too close the engine is noisy compared to my 22 gsa its no match for it maybe i will test the gsa when it comes abd i will see but mine is going nowhere until at least 3 yeras old and i will never biy new again as you lose too much money

    • @craighanesworth

      That's interesting about the engine noise. I never that would be a factor. Thanks for the info

      @@craighanesworth i am still gonna check out the new gsa when its out so when mines gone 3 i may see about one but the 1300 gs is just too small as you are aware the 1250gsa is a big comfy bike lots of road presence well the 1300 has so little bodywork upfront

    Great video Craig. I have an FJR1300 now and it's a little too cramped in the legs for this old man. Strongly considering the new GS (probably the adventure). A good friend referred me to your videos. My man Ray Maple! Happy New Year and Go Bills!

    • @craighanesworth
      @craighanesworth  11 місяців тому +1

      Thanks Mark. Ray is the man. Can't wait to see what he does with the new Goldwing he has. You will definitely feel less cramped on the GSA. I prefer it over the GS because of the larger gas tank and the factory crash bars. Happy New Year. Go Bills!

    I said that about the 6th gen Goldwing and STILL will not buy the 6th gen Goldwing. If I was going to replace my 2017 Goldwing, I would buy a HD Road Glide or K1600GTL

    • @craighanesworth
      @craighanesworth  Рік тому

      Maybe K1600. Not the road glide. You don't want to go back to an air cooled engine 😂

    Purchased a ‘23 GSA in order to skip this next Gen. new frame tech (for BMW), struggling (to me) with the new nav and tech as seen on the RT, etc. I am super curious about the telelever and paralever redesign, as well as the new motor/trans configuration. Just think the update in 4 years should be a solid evolution of what they are bringing with the 1300.

    Call me CRAZY 🤪
    But I like the overall style / looks of your GS1250 over the new 1300. Granted the new tech is always better than the outgoing model. Case in point, the 6th gen Goldwing. Which i have owned 2, 2018 (accident - totaled) and a 2021. But I totally agree on buying the 1300, being CRAZY or not.

      I do like the looks of my 1250 better. Interested in seeing the R1300 GSA when that is released. However, I think the R1300 that has the greenish color is nice! Thanks for watching!

    the ONLY thing that the new bike has that’s truly an improvement is the auto seat height adjustment. the rest ain’t that big a deal

      You obviously have not read or watched the reviews. There are several major improvements. Engine, frame, suspension, weight, quick shifter, etc. etc.

      @@mitch2519 136 horsepower and 105ftlbs or torque is good enough for me. the new chassis has made the bike more sporty … i already have a sport bike. same reason the new quick shifter isn’t a big deal. i want to have fun moving up and down gears and going fast in the twisties i’ll take my sport bike to the track. i’m looking at comfortable and nothing about the new bike makes it that much better for touring … for me

    I have a 2022 HD Pan America Special. Will be trading it in in November for a Multi Strata Rally.
    But I’ve seen a few videos of the RT1250. That bike is growing on me.
    I also like the new GSA 1300.
    BMW definitely on my radar now!

    Haters will hate! Personally I love it, looks nice and will be well, built. I’m from the UK and it seems the GS, new or old seems to get more venom from our friends in the USA!

    Oh man, sheesh, any idea how many different bikes I'd love to own and ride? Well Craig, you just added 1 more to the list. I've gotten spoiled with adaptive cruise control in my car, would be nice if I had it on my Spyder 😁👍👍

    I love the agricultural nature of the Big GSA. Yes the new one has all the goodies, But it looks soft. Headlight notwithstanding. I don’t think they screwed it up, i think they made it look more modern, no fault there. Craig over the course of the last three decades i've owned and ridden a few hundred thousands miles on 10 BMW"S a 1998 R1100RS, R1200C, R1100S, K 1200RS, (2) K1200LT"s, K 1200R, and 3 GSA'a and if there’s one thing i learned is that BMW owners rival Harley Davidson’s owners when it comes to brand loyalty. That said in time they will worship that bike and all offerings from Mother BMW.

    Wait a second here fellow GSer…🤣🤣 How can we buy the GSA if it not even announced/shown/revealed??? Would YOU put money down to buy an atrocity to the GS line they did?? One of the reasons I’ve bought me a Trophy GSA… No bs tech I don’t need to ACC to keep my distance from the mothership no lame electric windscreen and especially THAT DANGEROUS POWERING button next to the modes button?? Imagine riding and let’s assume you wanna change mode in the fly… What you gonna have to stop like you own now a Yamaha worth north of 25-28 big ones?? Naaah they ruined it so they can keep it
