I saw this video originally about a week ago. Few days ago was making some eggs and decided to try his technique for the eggs. I did it on low heat just to be safe. I stirred the hell out of them eggs no joke because it took a while, but it was on lowest heat. In the end the eggs as as creamy as Gordon said they would be. Nothing burned in the pot. But damn creamy eggs was to be had and tasted damn great. So thumbs up. But man, did i stir dem eggs!
I wasnt sure abt the runny eggs. But tried it and love it. My mom prefers crispy fried egg but even she liked the creamy texture. Definitely worth the try.
I have to admit. For a long time I’ve always liked my scrambled eggs a little overcooked but I’ve been doing Ramsay’s recipe for a while and I actually like it a little more than the usual way I used to do. Also I was never able to find some creme fraîche at the store. Instead I’m using some Greek yogurt plain and it has the same texture and taste good👍🏾
Okay so... Since I've found this video I've been practicing my scrambled eggs from time to time, and tonight I've been able to make pretty good ones (awesome tbh ^_^). Remember 2 things : 1st : butter : be as generous as Gordon is, that's important. 2nd : the most effort you put into your eggs, the best they are. Take your time, mix them while off the heat many many times during the process to get them cooking slowly and obtain a fine texture, as creamy as you can. Season at the end as he recommands, you can even use a bit of olive oil (the famous one!) and it's... just wow. You'll notice it's incredibly worth being zealous on the effort given and time taken. Don't stop mixing! I really need to make more of these right now. *afk*
I was afraid for years to try this technique because I have a reaction to undercooked eggs but today I braved it and OMG…my life is for the better. Fab! The secret is really knowing when to take them off the heat that last time before adding the creme fraiche. I don’t usually eat full fat dairy so I substituted the crème with plain greek yogurt. Just as good!
I did it this way and found that the whites were still not cooked through, slimy. I would kind of mound it together and take it off the heat and give each side a minute or so untouched so they'd get done. Put the sour cream in and mix it up and they're still nice and creamy. So not quite like Ramsays but pretty close.
My scrambled eggs turned out so delicious, creamy, and luscious after following the recipe and technique. I didn’t have crème fresche so I used 5% cream.
It’s pretty easy to mess up toast. If the bread is a bit more stale than normal and you don’t change the toaster heat beforehand it will burn. He probably didn’t think of it because he was busy in front of the camera and the eggs were the main part.
Finally tried making eggs like this. I saw this video years ago and kept saying id do it and didnt until today. I didnt have any sour cream but i threw in cold shreded cheese to help stop the cooking and wow. These are the best eggs ever.
HAHA Its weird isn't it? But hey don't knock it until you try it, I typically had eggs the traditional way we have them here in the states, but after trying them this way they are amazing. I was licking the pan! Definitely try this out.
I've been trying to find a substitute for creme fresh. It's kinda damn difficult to find in my Country and rather expensive. Although not that expensive, it's just not as inexpensive as the other ingredients.
You can make creme fraiche with 2 cups heavy cream and 1/2 cup cultured buttermilk. Mix together in a mason jar, put the lid on loosely, and leave at room temp (somewhere in the 70's F) for 24 hrs, then refrigerate for at least 24 hrs. 3 days is better. Lasts in the fridge for about 2 weeks.
I'm sure Gordon knows what he's talking about, but I think Devon Larratt's morning breakfast for himself using 1 butter stick, 8 eggs scrambled, a half a bag of Doritos, and topped with a can of beans sounds delicious! (And probably 10 pancakes smothered in butter and Canadian maple syrup!) Now THAT is what I call a breakfast!
I just put a splash of milk in the eggs and whisk them well until uniform and frothy, salt then cook in butter at medium heat until firm without over stirring because I like big fluffy pieces of egg. They come out soft, moist and buttery but not rubbery or slimy. I might try adding a spoon of sour cream though and see how I like it.
So I watched Gordon’s version and Jean Pierre Jp adds salt and lets it sit for 15 minutes to devolve salt in eggs. He beats eggs then adds butter and puts eggs in pan adds 1/2 ounce of Soda water to make it fluffy an cream. So many versions of perfect scrambled egg
+Guy Fieri how? they're both using eggs, and they both use some amounts of butter/oil. Maybe sure with the addition of creme freshe or slightly extra butter for a more creamy finish but hardly that much over.
I don't doubt those would be good, but I like my scrambled eggs WAY more simple than that. Just some salt and pepper will do. He didn't need to go all out like that.
you prefer mediocre scrambled eggs over fantastic scrambled eggs? ever since i tried his recipe i have NEVER gone back to how i used to cook them, you really should give it a shot you wont regret it
So the secret is to add cream, butter, and oil along with the egg yolk. Can it be just as delicious without so much bloody fat? I'm sure it's out-of-this-world tasty, though.
I saw this a few years ago and it changed my life. Its the only way to go! Bless you, Gordon.

Did you use a stainless steel pan like he does?
LOL...Ramsay probably last longer making scrambled eggs than in the sack.
Dunno I think he’s got five kids or something like that.
Gordon is definitely still human hahaha he let his toast get burnt. Awesome and delicious recipe Gordon!
Kenny Oscar LOL if i was there i wouldve bitched hard

It's very tasty!
how long did you take the pan off of the heat for ????
I just made these eggs, and I'll never make them another way. So tasty!!
+Mark Figueroa Glad to hear that. I think I'll be making them sometime this week .

Where did you get the creme fraiche?
@@alfasiger4178just use sour cream with some heavy whipping cream mixed in. Same thing
@@itsdungy6180no. No it’s not
@@alfasiger4178I found some at a Safeway. Never seen it anywhere else though.

I finally found some crème fraiche at the grocery store by accident. It was with the imported cheeses. Now coming back to make these eggs properly.
Sour cream is a perfect substitute for crème fresh and always in my fridge.

Extra Virgin olive oil please. Olive oil is crap like seeds oils 😮😅
Gordon Ramsey is so intense and quite funny! Even while making scrambled eggs he's extreme! I can't wait to try this recipe.

Been doing it the Ramsay way for some time and everyone loves my eggs, thank you Sir!
Did this today for the first time…it’s sooo good!!!
Just tried this and it wasn't bad! Definitely gonna add it to my breakfast repertoire
Great breakfast!
lol. people in the comments are used to overcooked, rubberized scrambled eggs and are freaking out when see them properly cooked

Literally the BEST scrambled eggs i‘ve ever had thanks Gordon ❤️❤️❤️
Jesus, I didn't even get it 100% right and yet those were the best scrambled eggs I've ever eaten. Straight from heaven🔥😁
I have since started making my eggs like this, and they're delicious. They taste so much better this way.

Okay I was a bit skeptical, especially since I hate runny eggs.. but I gave this recipe a try, there are very delicious!
I made them this way this morning, I won't go back to using a flat pan ever again.
2:45😮😮😮 man touched the hot pan like nothing
Whoa whoa whoa. Did Ramsay just fuck up toast? TOAST?!
Tyler Byrne He did.And it was in the damn toaster, he didn't even have to cook it.

They should call this recipe: How to make eggs if you are actually in the mood for mashed potatoes.

This is a game changer for me 😃👍🏻
Butter rules!
Love it and you are terrific. Make me smile
verry verry english scramble gonna try this thank you chief 😊
My favorite part is when he seasons the spatula.
Are these eggs refrigerated? Cold eggs cook differently than room temperature eggs.
I've done this delicious breakfast. Time to repeat it again ❤
I don’t wait for breakfast and try it right now for dinner. 😂
"And give it to her in bed.....the breakfast" is the best part. Skills

Nice to know I'm not the only one who burns toast haha the pro does too

As usual, Ramsey kills the method of waking up the Misiss.
We have sleep in Sundays and I’m literally watching this to go make the Wife breakfast.
"Run up stairs and give it to her in bed" but she got so hungry afterwards!
This looks so easy. My eggs starts to burn the second I take it on the heat.
I guess I should try lower heat, but I feel like it takes forever.
Sean Robinson JR -- pre warm to mid-high heat first. then turn it down to mid. shouldn't take long at all, maybe 3-4 mins!
🤤 creamy scrambled eggs
Definatly looks like a mash potato that ramsay have maked :)

you know someone can cook if they can make the perfect scrambled egg...but dont worry if they burn the toast...just, forget that bit
I like his style lol
I watched Thomas Keller do his recently and he exchanged the spatula for a whisk
02:47 I can't believe he actually put his knuckles to the pot... !!!!
Why? Heat takes time to transfer. You can place your hand directly over a fire for a very short time and suffer no damage to your body.
I get your point. But it is a risk!

lol are you serious?
