Man! I was waiting for a video like this!! I do have same pdp rematch, victrix gambit, elite 2, powerA fusión pro 1 and 2 and stock Xbox series S controller and I’m getting same results than you I feel bad that a paid almost 200 for the elite 2 and a 30 dollar controller pdp rematch is faster and you can feel a big different in games like Warzone. PowerA fusion pro 2 is a usb type c but it doesn’t feel as fast like pdp controller. Note: pdp controller are the only Xbox controllers that you can overclock, so they are doing something different.
I'm fairly sure it's because of the USB-C cable. I might do a follow-up short or something testing slower controllers using that cable. Thanks again for the opportunity!
I'm sure if you run the Scuf wired it'll hold up fairly well, I didn't consider it at the time, and that is one of those mistakes I can learn from as I continue on here.
Not off hand, but I could test it the way I tested the controllers in the video, just going off a hunch, I'd imagine it's on par with the other wired controllers. That seems to make the most difference anyway. Just let me know.
Sorry about the delay on this, I can't remember which version of the Elite series controller it is I have; I think the one I was gifted is the first generation and I cannot get it to work using any USB-C cable I have. I tried 3 different ones, including the cable that I use, and that came with the Victrix Gambit controller. I also think I misread your original comment, I believe the Elite Series 2 controller I had was the white controller and that was just on loan to me, so unfortunately, I cannot test to see if it would work wired in or what the latency would be. (Edit: I double checked and yes, it is the Elite Series 2 that I have 😂 checking online it seems that the controller should work wired, but I can't get it to do anything with any of the USB-C cables I happen to have)
Unfortunately, I do not know. I've only tested and compared the polling rate of the controllers that appeared in this video. I also do not have a PowerA Enhanced controller to test.
5:40 - I tested all of the controllers' latency on my Xbox Series X to the best of my capabilities. If you're not worried about price the Victrix Gambit is probably a better controller overall, though my testing did show it had some variances in the polling rate if I remember correctly. I also, saw an advertisement from GameStop just yesterday and they had the Gambit on sale, I don't know if the sale is still going though. The Gambit was on sale for $39.99, probably a good time to grab it. In the tests that I've ran on the controllers I've had access to, I've found that wired always has lower latency than wireless, ones with USB-C connections being better than micro-USB. But from there, it really depends on what you want out of the controller, and how much you want to spend on it, I can't say there's an overall best for everyone, but based off the pricing and the controllers I have personally tested, I really enjoy the Victrix Gambit, it's officially licensed by Xbox, so it should continue to work even once they ban other 3rd party controllers. It doesn't cost a fortune, and it has pretty decent customization options, at the cost of feeling a bit cheaply made. I'm hoping to soon be able to test a controller that has hall effect sensors in it, so if you're still on the fence maybe that one could be the best, pretty sure it has back buttons as well.
Honestly, for how I personally play games on Xbox, I just prefer the standard boxed in controller. I've never made use or put any time into learning the back pedals or have any concerns over latency. I don't play in tournaments or leagues or anything like that, my TV is only 1080p at 60hz, so for me, it really boils down to the feel and the price, and I prefer the standard Xbox controller. I enjoyed the Xbox One controller fine, though I do prefer the Series controller now. I find the Elite controllers are heavy feeling, which is nice, in a premium way, but not great for extended play. I could continue to ramble on for a while, but I think that for most people, the standard boxed in controllers are fine.
@@TECHNOBABBLE.yes for most people. But most people aren’t online looking at testing comparisons between controllers either. Your Audi Vance specifically isn’t looking for the basic Xbox controller, we’re looking for an upgrade. Great video though!
Really appreciate the work and information. Thank you!

To say I'm surprised about the PDP controller is an understatement.

victrix Got a PR At 500hz out the box and its 1.9ms. I see he tested it at 250 PR
A+++++ top explanation thx for your video!
Glad you liked it, thanks for watching and commenting.
GREAT VIDEO!
great video man. although im upset by the results because i just bought a scuf to try to get an edge but maybe should have watched this first.

Can't you do a wired test for all of them?
No, sorry, a lot of the controllers including the Scuff were on loan to me at the time.
I don’t mean to bother but do you know what the latency is when the elite series 2 is plugged in?
Sorry I should say input latency or input lag.
Not off hand, but I could test it the way I tested the controllers in the video, just going off a hunch, I'd imagine it's on par with the other wired controllers. That seems to make the most difference anyway. Just let me know.
@@TECHNOBABBLE. thank you very much! I appreciate the feedback! Love the vids man 💪

You’re own test literally showed the gambit being in first and you put it in second 😂
Statistically it's very equal to the PDP rematch, price wise, it's second.

This video is far from informative or even correct. Have you done this wireless 😂
The wireless controllers were tested wirelessly, I'm fairly sure I acknowledged that in the video.
