    Re align your spine, headaches will disappear. Read the book, the body electric.everything is connected.i use reflexology as well. Feet terminate all of your spinal nerves. And I have a little neck re alignment tool that I lay on every evening to align my neck. Thanks Scotty. I bought a Q-link as well and I feel great.

    I had a lot of wrist and shoulder problems over the years, mainly due to drawing with a mouse, but lots of people have problems from keyboard usage. I got a good symmetrical mouse and learned to use my "wrong" hand for less accurate work. Avoided double-click like the plague. I lay the keyboard flat (tilted up forces bent wrists = stress), and try to ensure that my elbows, wrists, and knuckles are all at the same level -- my fingers can then type in a relatively relaxed manner. I'm not a touch typist, and figured some of this stuff out myself, so would be curious what others have to say on the topic

    You can get a headache from the RF which is what I get, say from working with a long range WiFi adapter for a few minutes or standing too close to a mast for a short while. This has nothing to do with posture it is likely micro clots or obstructions in the arteries of the brain, this is your blood cells clumping together because they are magnetic aka rouleaux. If you take gingkgo biloba it swells your arteries which helps the clumps pass through and it will help make you a solid genius due to the increased blood flow. I have shielded clothing now so I pull up my shielded hoodie if I start getting a headache. Others here have mentioned reflexology which I would highly recommend for back pain and I would recommend sleeping with a pillow between your legs on your side, this really helps maintain a good sleeping posture for the back.

    The best way to sit is in the position where all your energies in your body can flow freely... particularly where the mind energy can freely flow down and meet the energies at the most center point of your Self ♥️ Make an effort to always keep those two points connected.
    You are welcome 🙏🏻

    I like your analogy with E.T. Since technology surrounds us more and more, the head moves forward like E.T. to see better, the thumbs are used too much for text messages, the feet move to the outer sides to concentrate more because the eyes don't move enough. The tonus of people changes because there is more rounding of the back. And when the thread at the top of the head is pulled, everything in the body is reorganized. I like to do this often to advance in age while maintaining flexibility. Moving the eyes often in all directions to relax them. This is also very important.

    Another great video. Have you looked into acupuncture. When you was talking about problems related to different areas of the body that immediately reminded me of acupuncture. Never tried myself though.

    I had major knots in my shoulder when I was putting in long hours working in Photoshop. I used a wacom tablet more than the mouse. I learned if I put the tablet on my lap, I reduced the knot on my back. Good info Scottie, as always!

    Awesome advice. As I'm sitting here watching this, every few minutes I start to feel back and neck pain and then realize my body is in a really weird position so I re-adjust and actually feel some relief until I realize I'm not sitting on my "sit bones" again.

    Good advice. I knew some of the theory and still couldn't sit straight. Someone recommend the Gokhale "method". She (and many others before her) looked at traditional cultures and saw they did almost everything different to us. Hip angle different (bum out, but the resulting back curve is corrected by a muscle that runs under the ribcage); and they _never_ curve the back (hinge at the hip to bend). I find head and neck most difficult to correct, but got a lot of physio this year which helped me improve that

    • @sdrtcacgnrjrc
      @sdrtcacgnrjrc 2 роки тому +2

      Just to add to that -- now when I sit at the computer, I sit straight, without back support. Otherwise similar to what you say with the angles etc.

    I'm an IT guy and I began sitting on a pilates ball rather than a high dollar chair about 7 years ago and it was a huge improvement. Helped get rid of back stress, pain. Also improved core strength. Highly recommended.

    I actually expected you to talk about prolonged EMF exposure induced headaches and various other health problems that it can cause.

    • @ScottiesTech
      @ScottiesTech  2 роки тому +1

      That can do it, too - but more and more I'm seeing people who are convinced it's EMF, but they ignore other possible factors. Ultimately, you have to look at EVERYTHING and take all possibilities into account.

      WiFi and cellular signals are simply not powerful enough to cause anything like that. Try visible light to get headaches, cancer, and all yourEMF shit.

    Thank you Scott! I needed to hear this. I suffer from weakness in shoulders because I used to sit a lot in front of a computer. Australian rows and facerows with bands has helped me tremendously in healing this but I also need to incorporate “the string from top of head thinking” in everyday life..

    Hi Mr.Scotties,
    1. Sitting is equivalent to smoking. It is really bad for your spine if you sit straight for hours. To safe one's spine, one should get to stand up for 5 - 15 minutes every 45 minutes. (And one can then use this 15 min to strengthen muscles of your neck, knees, back, etc.)
    2. When sitting straight, the best angle for your neck is not 180 degree but 170 degree (bending a little bit to the front but not stretching your neck)
    3. At home, you can install a bar above your work chair for stretching while sitting whenver you feel a bit uncomfortable on your body.
    4. The posture that one's spine needs to bear least weight is laying down with your face up. One's spine bears more weight when one lays down on the side and even more weight when one lays down with one's face down. (Of course, spine bears even more weight when standing or sitting.)
    5. To exercise one's neck muscles, one pushes one's hand against your head and pushes one's head against the force of the hand. Do for all the 4 sides--front, back, left and right. 10 - 15 seconds for each round of each of the 4 sides.
    6. Yes, one should maintain spine's good posture. Bending to the front or bending to the back is not good to one's spine (spine = back + neck)
    7. And more ✌
    Ps. Do you have good EMF meters to recommend? I am in Thailand now. It is hard to find a good EMF meter. There is only one emf meter which covers a radiation frequency up to 8GHz with 6-month warranty. The brand is Tenmars. But there is some review against this emf meter on youtube.

    My place is so tiny that I keep my laptop on my bed, now esply w/my son here and houseguest. I was using one of those comfy back chairs that ppl use to read in bed and noticed my neck hurting. Now I just prop two small bed pillows up under my main pillow and go from there, works, no pain. Btw never use NSAIDS, you are way better off w/plain old aspirin or CBD cream lol. Thx Scottie.

      Aspirin is an NSAID according to the bottle and resources available, just like Naproxen Sodium and Ibuprofen. Acetaminophen is not an NSAID according to the bottle and resources available, though.

    One other thing very important to help Everything in our Body..... Is to Drink More Water..... To Increase Circulation..... That acts like a Snow Plow..... Clearing away inner waste that builds up.... & Presses against a Nerve to Cause Pain.... Sitting & Standing Straight also helps with Circulation.....

      Garlic also helps the cardiovascular system overall. Many people don't like the smell of garlic, and some don't like the taste of it, but I like the flavor of it in many meals, including to levels that it adds heat.
