I watched the video, did what it said and WALLAH! my printer is fixed. And, by the way, I'm a 76 year old woman - if I can do this anyone can. Thank you so much.
Hello Best Printers. Happy to say that I just revitalized my 8715 printhead following your direction and printhead cleaning kit. Worked like a charm! So thankful that you saved me the cost of a new printer...and now I am using the oem ink that costs much less and I cannot yet see a difference in quality. (time will tell) I do suspect that my problems began when the black ink ran low. The color ink was not having problems. Thank you! PS, yes, close the latch! The assembly eventually does slide back to home when you are performing the cleaning process, even with the printhead out of the printer! Yikes!
George, i am so happy to read your comment. I am glad you were able to save your printer with these instructions! If you would like to show additional support you can leave a Super Thanks donation, you will find the Super Thanks button under the video!
Thank you for the video. I recommend that the latch should be returned to its original locking position while working with the printhead. The printhead compartment starts to move back to its home position after a while. If the latch is up, it becomes stuck which may damage the printer.
I am getting "Supply System Problem" for my HP OfficeJet Pro 8710. I error came up after replacing the black ink. I try multiple inks. Only happens on the black ink.
The color BLUE was not printing on my hp8710. I had to push pretty hard for quite a while before the blue ink started to come out. When I got it all back together the BLUE was printing fine. Thank you so much for a cheap solution. I was ready to buy a new printer.
I was able to remove the print head and used the solution but after the “printhead holder” moved to the right, it won’t return so I can replace my new ink cartridges! How can I get it back to its proper position? Sure hope I didn’t buy new ink cartridges for nothing!😳
my hp 8720’s printhead is leaking so much ink from underneath the print head 🤦♂️ trash $130 to replace the printhead. might as well just buy a laser printer
The Magenta ink in our HP Officejet pro 8710 was streaking, so I did a search online to find a DIY solution and found this UA-cam video. I ordered their product off Amazon and followed this video's instructions and it worked! No more striped print-outs and now I know how to solve this issue in the future. I ended up cleaning all the colors since I had everything taken apart anyway (5mL each, then another 10mL to clear off the back and bottom of printhead) and still have solution to spare. Another user commented that you should put the latch down after you remove the printhead, and I wish I had read it before because I had a bit of battle trying to get the printhead to stop moving. I eventually got it back to the position needed to reinstall it and the ink cartridges, but not without yelling obscenities at it for a few minutes.
Thank you my friend! i contacted hp to help me with my printer, it was printing only BW They DIDINT HELP AT ALL, i tried your method and it worked! FUCK HP "SERVICE"
I have bought a printer for cheap because it had the same printhead as my printer. But it was not used i think more than a year and the ink has totally clogged the nozzles. When i tried to clean it only the magenta passes a little bit of solution through. 99% of the printhead is clogged with dried ink. I have tried to submerge the bottom of printhead into hot water, then carefully inject distilled water with alcohol into it at all color locations but unfotunately the nozzles are completely blocked, i cant even inject the solution because of the air inside which is trapped isnide. I am afraid of pushing the syringe harder because i can tear the foil. Do you have any solution for this special case how to clean completely dried up ink from the nozzles? Thank you

My printer keeps showing that my ink is low. I have purchased several ink cartridges and each one of them are reading the same thing. The ink is low. What can I do? Thanks.
I'm having the same issue. New cartridges are reading low. All the colors were reported as depleted after one color was replaced. Finally the first color to be replaced read half empty when 3 pages had been printed since it was replaced.
hi... i cleaned my printhead as per ur video... after cleaning, cldnt print coz ink depleted (cyan)... i replaced with a new one... still cldnt print... it says theres a problem with the ink supply system... tried replacing with with new cartridge... wont work either... u have any solutions?
Didn't work. And now I look like a smurf. The blue isn't working and I tried to get the fluid through it, and it wouldn't move. It was also a real challenge to get the tube onto the syringe. I had to heat it up to get it on.
last time i used printer print quality was good. today i went to print and i am seeing error code 0x19a0023. the printhead appears to be missing , not detected or incorrectly installed. I have never touch let alone removed. does it need replaced ?
I have been using your method for the printhead, it worked however I have to use it a couple of times during a week. I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8710. Purchased new ink & still have some problems. A couple of days ago, purchased refill for blue & magn. so I replaced each cartridge. Now it is saying that there is a problem with the supply system. It also reads that I should replace the affected cartridge with a different cartridge, but all of them are new (just 3 days old). HELP!
I normally don't review products, but had to say how well this worked for me. My black printhead was totally clogged. When I first pushed the plunger on your syringe, it didn't move. I pushed harder, and the ink clog cleared instantly. The printing now looks beautiful.
After you cleaned with solution, I did not see you re-prime the colors with a syringe. Is that supposed to be done to clear out the cleaning solution that is still residual in the colored container of the print head? Or is just installing full cartridges and letting it auto prime the best way to set it back up?
Bought your cleaner kit on amazon, used it like in the video and still get the same Missing or Failed Printhead with error code: Oxc19a0003.... I did put the same cartridges that I refill at Costco every few months or so! Do you think that if I put in brand new ones in that I won't get that error code?
Not sure if this will fix my issue or not.. I am trying to print on printable vinyl, but the ink prints out wet and doesn't dry. Would this be a print head issue? Thanks in advance!
Thank you very much for this video and your cleaning kit. I ordered the kit and it came in 2 days. I followed the instructions on using the cleaning kit. I only cleaned the black ink reservoir. I let it dry overnight then reinstalled new black cartridge. Worked perfectly!! Thanks again
Great video- I ordered and used 10ml on black. Now the printer is saying there is a problem with the supply system and it says to replace the black cartridge but the cartridge is practically new! Any ideas?
I dont know if they still make this but don't buy it. It doesn't print simple address labels and after 1.5 years it stopped picking up card stock that i use every day. I would not recommend.

Yes you can warm up the solution and then apply hot solution to the printhead.

The only other solution would be to purchase a new printhead for the printer.
@@BestPrinters That will be the last resort

No use only solution.

This is an absurd pain in the ass! No wonder no one bothers trying to repair it. Cheaper to simply buy a new one than pay for repairs.

To be honest that code is very difficult to deal with. I dont reccomend putting any more money into it unfortunantly.
